What I found this weekend....

These colorful striped Louis chairs which I totally LOVE I found via: Chameleon Interiors Blog.

These cool looking prints above are by John Clark. See more in his shop.

I really thought this print above would look quite nice in a bathroom or even an entryway! From Soma Gallery in UK.

This shot is one of my favorites, the table is fantastic & the turquoise is so inviting! Via My home ideas.

and last but not least a few words I came across via We Made This.

Earth Hour 2008

Join me and millions around the world on March 29th for Earth Hour 2008.  When you turn off your lights ON 3/29th for an hour you are making a statement about climate change. The first Earth Hour started last year in Sydney, Australia and had the effect of taking 48,000 cars off the road for an hour. Impressive what we can accomplish when we try.  This year it will be a global event. Check out the Earth Hour site and sign up to show your support just like I did!

What a cool book

As promised, here's the amazing book I purchased the other day at Barnes and Noble. It's called
"LOVE, Life, Style' The Family at Home'

The book is by Anita Kaushal. I'm so impressed by her work and can't get enough of these colorful pages! Here are some shots I took to show you all what I mean. Nice huh?? It retails for about $45 but I was lucky enough to get 10% discount with a discount card I have. Its not small either (256 pages!!!) and contains a cool section in the back called 'Find' for all the places to "FIND", thats right, all the interesting pieces of furniture etc. that appear throughout these pages! I recommend it!

MY SUN-DAY

On Sunday it was beautiful out so I decided to spend the day window shopping and at the book store picking up a few books. I LOVE bookstores! I consume myself into the magazines and gather so much INSPIRATION! Here are shots I snapped of things that caught my eye throughout the day. Feel free to comment on anything. : )

*My Starbucks above!

As well as one of the coolest looking pieces of furniture I've see above. The patchwork is great from Living Etc.

*2 0f my favorite reads, & the newest issue of Interview Magazine with Madonna on the cover, LOVE it!

*Image above of the AWESOME wall of books from New York Spaces Magazine.

*Images above and below from ZGallerie. I love the pillows above, they look VERY similar to KWID's Trellis fabric, anyone seen these? These pillows retailed for about $39 each!! Nice, I almost bought them.

DOMINO & Cupcakes Mmmm

My Easter weekend began with the newest issue of DOMINO magazine arriving in the mail, and I just had to celebrate! So, I decided to make some cupcakes to go along with my reading. I thought I'd give this whole thing a TWIST by sharing some of my favorite shots from this issue with all of you! I subscribed to Domino for quite awhile now & can honestly say its one of the best home and style magazines out on the market! Enjoy your EASTER weekend!!!

*P.S. the cupcakes were just as good as the issue!

LOVE where you live

What a smart site! "How Green Is Your Bag?" They carry a collection of Earth-Friendly bags that are coated with jute for easy cleaning! These bags are great because you can keep them in the trunk of your car for shopping trips! That is what I do every time I shop, and its such a good feeling! They hold 3 to 4 times more groceries than plastic bags. If you DON'T have some of these, I encourage you to purchase 3-4 of them depending on how MUCH you shop! Please take a look at this link: Small Changes for ideas on what YOU CAN DO.
