Fabric options

Today has NOT been a good day for me online. I am having major problems with my connection, mail server, browser and FTP...! I managed to get this post up with a little help from my production manager & on another computer. I received so many emails about fabric suggestions , so here are a few I recommend for a DIY headboard. Of course, it all depends on the color scheme of the room you want. But, you can always choose a fabric & work around it.

Lofty spaces...

Living Etc. Magazine always manages to showcase some amazing spaces. Living in an open space has always been a dream of mine, well, I did live in a loft space once in New York & it was quite an experience! I remember the best part was that we had an entire wall of windows, so beautiful. I'm aware lofts aren't for everyone & they aren't all gorgeous, it's raw space & you have to like the style. Have you ever lived in a loft space? Would you consider living in one???

These were a few of my favorites from the
Living Etc. website, hope you enjoy them!

Lots of Blues....Skona Hem

I thought this was quite an interesting home via Skona hem. Most of us wouldn't think of painting our kitchen cabinets in blue...but I really think it fits well in this particular home. The reason being, the blue continues throughout the home, which gives it a good flow. What do you think of this blue kitchen? Do you think it works?

Beauty, Success and a great job.....Jenna Lyons

Jenna Lyons, is the creative director of JCrew and she is such a fashion icon. I remember seeing her home for the first time in Domino magazine. Her brownstone apartment, her large wardrobe closet....so beautiful! I found this interview with Jenna Lyons at the Huffington Post and was such a pleasure to read...don't you just love her office?? You can read it for yourself here.
