My gift to myself from .....Elizabeth & James.

Ok, so I've been working hard and the Holidays are coming....I think I deserve to get myself a little something nice. I normally don't overspend and if I don't have the money in my bank account, I don't use my credit card! However, I decided instead of a handbag which I blogged about here, I would treat myself to this 'Elizabeth and James' Knuckle ring. It was designed by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (yes, those twins), but those two are quite the fashion icons. I LOVE their jewelry line and this ring was no exception. It retails for $198 in sterling silver & $155 in a golden color, and was supposedly modeled after a vintage piece costing thousands of dollars! A stylist told me once that if you buy casual key pieces that go with any outfit, you can enjoy those items more often. Accessories are perfect key items to do this with! I first saw the E & J ring on the Fashion Toast blog and I love this girl's style!! Here she is below wearing the ring. AND yes, it is sterling silver!

* Here I am below wearing mine.

Color throughout...

This home sort of reminded me of my own. The colorful decor and the amazing rectangular chalkboard in the kitchen! However, her chalkboard is much cooler....it also doubles as a wine rack, nice!! I also really like the colorful chandelier, is it from Urban Outfitters?? Anyone know?? I've seen it before but can't recall where. Hmmmm. Enjoy! For more of her home click here.

*UPDATE: Thanks to Jamie from Lighting Trends Blog for the link on where to purchase this colorful chandelier. Go here for the mini version. AND for the larger chandelier (pictured below) go here.

Skulls in Fashion...

Skulls make an interesting fashion statement no matter how they're worn. My favorite ways to display skulls is on handbags or as decor item in my home. Here are some SKULL items I found on Etsy that I really like! If you know of anymore that are just as interesting, let me know and I may use it in a future post! Hope you're all having a great Monday.

Hmmm is this a Gucci ??

Ok, I really thought I was up on all the latest fashion, blah blah....But I cannot figure out what designer brand purse this is...anyone know?? Is it Gucci? I like this handbag and usually give myself a Holiday gift. However, it depends on the price of course...as I can't justify overspending on a handbag in this current economy. Maybe someone knows where to get this bag at a better price?? Leave comments please! Have a good weekend.
