Fashion: Golden Goose Sneaker Trend

Hey guys! Hope you all had a fantastic New Year! I have been spotting the coolest sneakers around the blogosphere called Golden Goose. They're on the top scale of prices for sneakers, so you def have to love these to splurge on them. However, if you think the price tag is a bit much for you, these are  a similar, more affordable version available at SheIn.

They come in a wide variety of colors, I personally like all the colors but my favorite is the more neutral all white with black seen hereAs for trendy sneakers, I've seen SO MANY young girls sporting shell top Adidas...and although I had a pair when I was 15 years old, I think they're WAY TOO popular now.  Personally, I'd rather invest a bit more money & get something like golden goose. Or even get a cheaper pair that look like the real deal! They're trendy, comfy & not every single teeny bopper is wearing them.  Happy New Year!!!

FASHION: 5 Off-The Shoulder Ruffle Tops

Hey guys! Hope you're week is going well so far!

I know I have been MIA, but I will be popping in & out when I can. I apologize for disappearing once again, but I have a lot of projects on my plate these days. One of those includes an event I will be hosting with Fossil here in New York City! Can't wait to share. On that note, I need to go shopping!  I have been seeing ruffle, off-the shoulder tops everywhere right now!!

I LOVE this trend, especially for the upcoming warmer weather. This season you're going to have a lot of styles to choose from with many designers jumping in & creating their version of the ruffle off the shoulder top. From high to low prices, you will definitely find one for this Spring/Summer! Here are 5 of my favorites to help you get started!

Thred-UP: Like-New Affordable Clothes

Hey everyone! Great news for moms today...keep reading!

I have a new favorite shopping site called Thred-Up.  It's a company that offers "like-new" clothing from popular name brands we all love!  I discovered this site when Noah was around 7 months and it has been heaven-sent!  The reason I say this is because....every mom out there knows how pricey kids clothing can be.  Especially when they grow out of it SO QUICKLY!  & you have to buy again.

Thred-Up works for us because we can buy gently used clothing that no longer fit other children or were "never even worn" and buy them at a fraction of the cost! For example like the Toddler Polo by Ralph Lauren gray sweater highlighted below.... retails new for around $55, but at Thred-Up you'll be able to purchase a gently used version for only $13.99. Insanity no?

Anyway, I can say from firsthand experience that I am HAPPY with the quality of the items I ordered for my son. Everything looked pretty new, no complaints!  For every item you are looking at, Thred-Up offers a description, measurements, material it's made from, along with the condition it is in. They also offer free returns for store credit + they're very generous and love offering their customers incentives to come back with discount codes!  If you're a mom & you're wondering what to do with the clothing you already bought your little one that doesn't fit, Thred-up actually allows you to sell your (gently used) clothing on their site. Not just kids clothing, but adults too!

Here's pretty much how it works:

You order a free Clean Out Kit. pack it full of styles you love & return it to Thred-Up for free. Keep in mind the clothing you send should be in excellent condition. No stains, holes, piling, or signs of wear will be accepted. Styles you send should be on-Trend and in season.  You'll find a variety of brands like J-Crew, DVF, Mini Boden , Theory, Ralph Lauren & more for women, men & children! For the entire list of brands they carry go here.

I love this company!  Thred-up is ideal for moms who are looking for nice, affordable baby clothes! So moms, take notes. Watch the video above & see for yourself how cool this is.

Kate Spade Home

Have you heard?

Kate Spade launched a collection of Home decor items & it's super cute! I'm especially fond of the polka dot Downing Desk.  It's so chic & love how it also has three drawers with a lovely brass finish. As they say, pretty things increase productivity.  I agree. Working beautifully is something I enjoy doing. But a little more than I could spend on a desk at this time...but perhaps it would work well for you? Below are a few of my favorites from the Home collection, available directly on the Kate Spade site!

GIGI NYC : My New Phone case

I have been a fan of GIGI NY for as long as I can remember.  They offer handbags, clutches, phone cases, wallets & more...all made with the highest quality leather.. I really love their brand for many reason, one is, they offer personalization on almost any of their products.  They are super stylish & come in a variety of colors as well!

I recently got an iPhone 6 and wanted a case that would match my personality... but also be functional. I remembered the ones that GIGI NY had and I really loved the this black embossed python one + their iPhone wallets. The wallet cases are super cool & come in a variety of styles & color! I admit, I  was hesitant at first...thinking that my phone would just fall out when I opened it. But no. The phone somehow stays on with a strong piece of velcro, that almost seems like a magnet. But it def holds, so that's good news.  I would highly recommend the wallet cases for all the working women out there.

In case you're wondering,  this is the one I have.

So, thank you to GIGI NY for sending a few pieces my way.  I'm quite happy with my cases. In fact, I've gotten many compliments on my embossed hard shell case when I'm using my new iPhone. If you're in the shopping mood, they are currently having a HUGE sale 30-40% off.  Check them out here.

TREND: OVER-THE-KNEE BOOT

The over-the-knee boot trend is one of my faves. I used to think this look looked too"Pretty Woman" & wasn't that fond of it. But as the years have gone by & countless fashion bloggers have worn this style, I've learned to love them. I own a pair but they are a bit narrow in the tow area for me, so I don't wear them too often.

I would love to invest in some comfy ones (if even possible) so that I could wear them with a pair of skinny jeans.  My all time favorite are the pricey ones called the 'HIGHLAND' by Stuart Weitzman they run about $800.  Gulp, I know. But they DEF look the best in my opinion.

Tell me, are you into the over-the-knee trend this Fall?? Which is your fave?

FALL MUST-HAVES

Fall is def my fave season.

With the HOT & HUMID temperature here in NYC lately, I cannot wait till it arrives. With the new seasons I usually tend to do a little shopping to update my wardrobe a bit. I also have the Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker event to attend the middle of this month, and I still haven't figured out an outfit! I am SO picky that sometimes, I just end up wearing all black to make life easier. I have to say it's def easier to choose an outfit for an event or a night out when I'm blogging about it.... So, with that said, here are 3 I'm looking at right now.

Of course, I also added a new phone case....since my phone is in my hand often. BAD habit, I admit it.

Which do you like?

Have a great weekend!

Summer Favorite: Lace Up Flats

Have you seen the "it" shoes all over instagram and on fashion blogs? I'm talking about the Lace Up Flats by M. Gemi - The Brezza from Italy.  Too bad, they're SOLD OUT.  I know, I know... they do have a hefty price tag (cha-ching)...but I bet they're made amazingly well!   I've always loved Italian shoes for their quality.

If you're not willing to dish out for the Brezza, there are many other options floating around online you may also like!  I found a few similar styles if you're also stalking this show like I am.  - I already have the Finest Ghillie Lace up flats from top shop, which you'll find in a few other colors & options if you search their site.

So, tell me ladies - Are any of you stalking these shoes too?!?!?

Have a nice weekend everyone!!

My Tibi Picks

Hello everyone! It's getting close to the end of the week & the weather here in NYC is SERIOUSLY humid.  I'm NOT a fan of humidity SO so when I need to shop for clothing, I end up shopping online instead of battling the sticky heat.

Enter Tibi ....this is one of those shops I go to when I want a great flowyyy skirt. I admit though, Tibi - although one of my faves, isn't always as affordable for me. I do love their shop, their clothing is always so chic & sophisticated. You'll definitely want to check them out! My top picks for late-summer at Tibi are below.

What do you think? Do you find yourself shopping online when the weather isn't ideal?

KELLY BELLO DESIGN

As many of you may know, I tend to drift toward rings & necklaces when it comes to jewelry. So, when Kelly Bello offered one of her fantastic pieces I opted for a necklace. However, I wanted something that would represent my family. So, I requested 3 necklaces with each letter (J,N,M).  They wrote me back & said they could try something different like putting all the letters on one chain.

Oh!! Well, I loved that idea even more!!! I was the first to get this beautiful & dainty necklace. It's called the mini-triple letter necklace, but I call it my family necklace.  It's made of 14K gold & has a 16" chain, the perfect length in my opinion. For you couples with no kids...yes, they also have the double-letter one too! - I love this brand, because like myself Kelly is a Hispanic entrepreneur & is based out of NYC.

Below are a few of my favorite pieces. That square with pearl ring, so luxurious don't you think??

Cool Mom. Cool Diaper Bag.

Ok, so now that I'm a mom, I'm on the hunt for a diaper bag.

Yes, it's a bit late...why? Well, you see....I've been using one of my bigger handbags as a diaper bag. I'm quickly discovering there aren't enough compartments to put everything in!  Very annoying when you're out with your baby on a long stroll & find yourself digging around your BIG handbag for a small pacifier etc.

Now after searching and searching online I've come across some great options that are not only stylish but functional. Let's face it, there are some UGLY diaper bags out there.  I just can't see myself holding a bag that feels like I'm hauling around a clown outfit.  No offense but...."Dear designers, please make nicer diaper bags."  In the meanwhile I've got a few I'd recommend - some not-so-affordable and some are.

As of right now I'm looking at #2 , a black quilted diaper bag by StorkSak. This bag is pretty cool....has all the necessary pockets & then some.

Moms, take note...this is def a cool bag!

FASHION: Milly Dresses

Milly is one of my favorite shops to visit here in NYC. They have the most amazing dresses, that just flow and make you feel like a princess. Even though I hate the term 'princess' - this is DEF true about these dresses...you will feel like a princess. The dresses & skirts are really full with a generous amount of fabric so your dress will move & flow when you walk.  I also LOVE how the unique prints on the MILLY dresses are so luxurious & feminine - these are bound to be the highlight of any event!

OK, I confess - I already own the painted (pink) flower one, I wore it for a feature in Adore Home Magazine which comes out April 1st !!!   Can't wait to share it with you.....I think Designer, Michelle Smith will love it!!

Which of these is your favorite?

fashion: Parisian style

Hi everyone! Sandra from Blasfemmes here. Today’s post is very much alike this post I did a while ago (here) but let’s be honest: who can possibly get tired of Parisian style? What I love the most about Parisian-chic wardrobes are the timeless essentials that every woman should have. Even bigger sizes can’t get it wrong with a classic trench coat, a simple day dress or a striped tee. Below are two look suggestions: a more work appropriate outfit and a girly-girl outfit. More ideas here.

Are you also deeply fascinated by Parisian way of dressing? What are your favorite pieces from this style? Take one:

1. Céline Sunglasses // 2. Kate Spade Trench Coat // 3. Maje Pussy-Bow Shirt // 4. MadeByGirl  // 5. Stylebystories Earrings // 6. Saint Laurent Bag // 7. Guerlain 'Kiss Kiss' Lipstick // 8. FASHION: 28 ESSENTIAL ITEMS

Hi everyone, this is Sandra from Blasfemmes. Since this is my first post of 2015 I want to wish you all a happy 2015, filled with lots of love, success and health! I entered this new year with a more "minimalist" approach shopping wise. The beginning of the year is always the time of amazing sales, shopping temptations and even great deals but this year I found myself thinking: what do I really need in my wardrobe right now? This post is exactly about that: the items I consider essentials and therefore great things to buy (in or out of sale season).

Did I forget to mention anything? What are the items you consider essential in your wardrobes?

Dress shop for 2016? Yea.

Hey everyone, hope you had a lovely Christmas! Any Plans for New Year's eve? - As for us, we're going out to dinner, and even though we are not spending the 12 midnight out, we've made arrangements to dress up & have a nice dinner for two. So, you're probably wondering what I'm wearing.... Well, last year I purchased a sequin dress from ASOS for this New Year's 2015, strange?  Well, maybe. But it went on sale &  it's super cute!

I figured why not let you in on this idea, get your next year's dress NOW....with all the last minute sales/deals, it's perfect timing!  ASOS is having a sale with up to 50% off on many items. Here are my sparkly selections for 2016.  I can't get enough of sequin on New Year's....for some reason it just makes sense.  Have a great New Year!!
