Fashion: Bring Out the Coats

Hi guys, it's Jocelyn. The weather is cooling down and the days are getting shorter. This means it's time to bring out the coats. I definitely feel that this is one piece in a wardrobe that is worth splurging on. A great coat should be able to stand as an outfit on its own because it's really all you see when you wear it.

I also look for ones that are versatile and can transition from day to night, that way you get the most out of your purchase. I personally go for simple and classic silhouettes.

What you guys think? Is it worth the investment?

  8. I like all the quirky, pastel coats you showcased...retro in color(s) yet futuristic in the cut(s). I'm not a fan of dropping a huge amount for "classic, investment pieces" even though I understand the concept..I change my mood, mind, wardrobe too often! I do find that J. Crew coats are worth the price, though. They are timeless.
