6 snow boots

I think it's safe to say winter has really shown us its true colors this year. In fact, we had a few sunny days last week here in NYC & I thought the snow was gone, but nope, it's back again today!  Can the city hold anymore snow?? Who knows.  What I do know is that it's probably a good idea to be prepared. And I also know that statement snow boots are one great accessory.

Whether for this winter season or next, let your inner snow bunny do some shopping! There are so many cute snow boots out there to choose from-- I've selected 6 different styles to get you started. Enjoy!

Which style do you prefer ??

But hey - since it's here to stay for a little bit longer, might as well make the best of it, right? I've been seeing a lot of fabulous winter cloaks lately – a very stylish way to stay warm, don't you think? I've selected a handful, let me know what you think about the trend!

FASHION: Winter Neutrals

Hi everyone, Adri here of Adri's World. Happy 2014 to you! As much as I love the holidays, I am glad they're over and I'm ready for this new year. One of the best things about starting a new year is the idea of a fresh, clean start and after all the sparkle and shine that comes with the holidays I like to keep things simple, clean yet stylish this time of year.

Two colors that I love when it comes to fashion are grey and black! You can pair them with anything—patterns, colors, or together and you'll look amazing.  Here are a few of my favorite winter neutrals. I'd wear them all at once and maybe add a pop of color and pattern with a scarf, a skirt & tights or pants.

Do like to wear neutral colors in the winter or do you like to add color to your outfits?

Mackage

This past Christmas I bought myself a nice jacket.  I had originally wanted this one by Helmet Lang, but after trying it on, I knew it WASN'T FOR ME. It was gorgeous, but somehow I felt ODD walking around with HAIR ON MY BACK. Well, on the back of the coat that is...

So, after returning it - I decided to walk over to Mackage in Soho after church & BAM!!! There it was, the perfect jacket. If you scroll down, you'll see it in black, but I'm actually wearing the camel- colored style in the picture. The fit is awesome - and although it won't be warm enough for the freezing cold winter weather, it will be perfect for fall. Also, I saved a ton of money.

Mackage is currently one of my favorite go to brands for coats. It's a luxury brand offering trenches, coats & downs for both women & men. If you're visiting NYC or you live here - you have to hit the store, it's a gorgeous minimalist looking boutique situated in SOHO.

So, what do you think? Is Mackage a brand you could easily get into??

See you Monday!

Fashion: Bring Out the Coats

Hi guys, it's Jocelyn. The weather is cooling down and the days are getting shorter. This means it's time to bring out the coats. I definitely feel that this is one piece in a wardrobe that is worth splurging on. A great coat should be able to stand as an outfit on its own because it's really all you see when you wear it.

I also look for ones that are versatile and can transition from day to night, that way you get the most out of your purchase. I personally go for simple and classic silhouettes.

What you guys think? Is it worth the investment?
