Nina's Scandinavian Home...

I've always dreamt of living abroad. Maybe Paris, London or Switzerland. Doesn't matter - just a place where the architecture is beautiful & there are coffee shops to boot! With lots of interesting museums to view artwork & much more. One thing I know is that the architecture overseas is such eye candy, or at least what they let us see in magazines right?!? One home in particular is that of Nina Bergsten.

It's  incredible - with super tall cathedral like windows to ornate Parisian-style ceilings.  Her home in Sweden was actually featured in Residence Magazine.

Take a look...beautiful isn't it? Doesn't it make you want to work really hard, make lots of money & move overseas?? That's a YES for me.

  2. Yes, yes, yes!!! This home is amazing!! I love the natural light, I'm telling you the light in Scandinavia is amazing... I have been trying to duplicate / capture the same feeling in my home in Florida, but it's just not the same... I have come close though; Decorators White paint, with it's grey tint, has done wonders for my walls, and the overall feel I wanted :)

    Thank you for sharing :)

  4. It's such a pretty minimalist home. I too dream of living abroad with nothing better to do than browse museums, shop, and sit in a coffee shop to write!

Wow, she is one gorgeous Scandinavian chic and with a gorgeous home too!!! love her mint colored sweater and bronzy brunette hair, hehe

I realy like the whole white colored theme of her home, especially the coffee table and the white marble dining table!!!
And i really love the hat chandlier with numerous light bulbs, it's a great accessory to the modern yet stylish looking home she has.

Completly agree with you, can't get enough of the tall windows and Parisian inspired ceilings and that fire place is to die for.

I also really like the white tiled toliet, a very clean look! and lastly, the gold framed standing mirror is lovely. Great way to see a clear image of one self every morning before dashing to work!:)

Great post!!! LOVED everything about it. Now take me to Scandinavia:) Actually i'm going to Denmark in Aug so maybe i'll get some inspirations there;)

  25. I completely agree with you Jen. I'd love to live in a place that had gorgeous architecture and HISTORY just outside your window. I've seen a ton of these pictures, but never knew that belonged to the same house/ owner. I can't get over the gorgeous high windows and trimmed ceilings. Such a stunning home!
