Metallic Zebra Print Hides....(Via Made by Girl)

Some of you probably know I may be moving in the next few months, so I've been selling some items in garage sales and on Craigslist to some locals. With some of that money I'll probably UPDATE some of my home accessories! One of the updates I was thinking of was, a NEW area rug (future dining area). Perhaps a ZEBRA print hide, or a plain albino hide of some sort....Hmmmmm

I found these to be quite interesting with all the METALLIC touches! Basically, they just added a whole new look to the already popular rug.

What do you think?? Do you own a zebra print hide??

For those of you wondering, they're by a company called Saddleman's of Santa Fe.

  1. I think they are gorgeous! I found them via I Suwannee a while back and have loved them ever since. The gold would be so chic with your newly white chairs!

  3. For the right interior, the metallic is really fabulous.

I didn't know you were moving...I love moving, great chance to clean out the old and get excited about the new. My family has made me promise we won't be moving again anytime soon, however. Good luck with yours...Janell

Yea more than likely moving in the next month or 2. It's going to be a big move - meaning lots to carry...so not looking forward to that part of it. Once you have a family, I am sure it becomes a bit more challenging though..... so i know what you mean when you're not moving anytime soon!

  6. Hi Jen,

I have a zebra hide rug and I love it! I was worried when I first got it that the trend would soon pass but I have found it to be quite timeless. If I get tired of it in my front room then I just move it somewhere else. It looks great in the baby's room or home office.

  7. I think they're uber glam but they don't have longevity. The original style would way outlast the metallics in the fashion stakes. Can you imagine still loving it in 5 years. For me, probably not?

  8. JESSICA: I also think it's also been proven to be timeless. At least the regular zebra prints....and definitely loos super cool in rooms!

  15. Not really a fan of cowhide/animal rugs since they come from such a place of cruelty :(
