  5. Hi Jennifer,

I’ve been visiting your blog just for enjoying myself with your posts, suggestions and creations. I’ve also navigating on suggested links and I like them so much.

I am a Brazilian journalist. I and four friends of mine — all of them, designers — have a blog that is a space of pleasure and creation. All we want to do, plans and projects, is expressed there. We would like your opinion too. We are at: www.criativesse.blogspot.com

  6. This table is gorgeous. I hope you aren't painting the whole things white..... Usually I don't like wood but this looks so sharp with the contrasting tops!

  7. It's beautiful! I think a dining room table is the best investment. I've loved my dining room so much more since I got one that I truly loved.

  8. I love the two different textures/styles ...of the really modern wood with the farm quality of design ...I think it's fab! Do you need to even paint it? But maybe the contrast of the white against the wood would look even better. i dunno ...I love it.

  9. White is very nice, but I find that in my case I tent to paint all in white, till I tried a light grey paint, and a lovely off blue, they are so nice and goes with everything!!! Plus in LONDON there is a trend to paint a dark colors, very good option as well, but I can se you have already dark furniture so a light option would be better.
    Good luck with the DIY.

  13. TO LOVE MEGAN:
The reason I think I may need to paint it, is because the white is more of an off white...i think it would look fresh & bright with an actual white paint. Looks cleaner too...BUT again...I will NOT be painting the top of the table. The chunky wood top is what makes this such a BEAUTIFUL piece.

how about hand painting or covering the chair back (it's backside) with some vintage or pop art fabric or your artwork? so front side as it is white and the back side with this idea?
