Chicago Loft livin' & lovin' it...

Sometimes I dream of living in a huge LOFT.... I was sort of lucky enough to live in one when I was in NY, but it was only 700 sq ft. and wasn't in the city....boo hoo!! Anyhow, Andreas Larsson, a photographer originally from Sweden, occupies this minimalist Chicago loft featured below. (Thanks to Loft Life Magazine.) My favorite part of his place are the dark wood floors. To think this place is just a little more than a 1000 sq ft. , doesn't it look so much bigger? You can also see more of Andreas's work via his site. Andreas Larsson Photography.

  5. this is basically my dream loft. I ADORE dark wood floors.

I currently live in a concrete loft. While I love it and the very industrial feeling I am ready to move into something like this. It is beautiful.

  20. The room has a very open and clean feel. It's hard to make a room feel like it's in an open space but I feel like this was accomplished. Do the windows have blinds on them? If so then are they plain as well?

  27. Laura,
I don't think all the windows have blinds...it looks like he might have left some windows just plain open. Which could mean the loft is on a high floor so no one could see into his space...Love it. It gets lots of light, which really cheers up the place.
