New Stationery by Jen Ramos

Sooooo excited to go back to my roots. What am I talking about? Well, when I first started MADE BY GIRL - I launched my business making note cards & greeting cards. Then a short time later, I removed them from my shop and to concentrate art prints.  Today.... I'm excited to announce to the return of my very own stationery!  This has been a dream of mine for quite some time and today it has come true.  Now, this is only the beginning, but the inspiration for this stationery is drawn from my artwork at Cocoa & Hearts.  They are printed on a high-end 110lb double thick card stock -  top quality!

My dream of course doesn't stop here, I'd love to eventually get my cards into stores all over the world. Of course, Paper Source is the ultimate spot. Why? Because it's in NYC & I pass the store every weekend & just love it!  Then of course, Kate's Paperie.

If you love flowers like me, Brie Harrison has a collection of stationery I really think you'll enjoy! Brie is an illustrator & print maker based in the Suffolk countryside, near London! She designs for top names like Anthropologie and Blue Q as well as appearing in illustrator Mike Perry's Print Pattern book "Over & Over".

Fun designs from my MADEBYGIRL

Hello Everyone! Mondays and Tuesdays are very busy for me, being that I am in school, so forgive me for not posting much those couple of days!. Anyhow, I've added a new card design to my shop and this collection contains a series of four cards. I call these 'Colored Pencils'....because I made them with colored pencils -obviously. Rockstar Inspired

I LOVE MUSIC it inspires me. Makes me feel happy. Motivates me. Sometimes makes me sad......but rarely does it ever let me down. There are so many talented musicians and I wish MTV would wake up and bring back MUSIC videos. I remember being a young girl and watching MTV, wishing I could be one of the Sexy Vixens behind the RockStars in their videos.... because I LOVED the music so much! I wanted to be there and be part of it all, experience what it was like to see it live from beginning to end. To get a taste of what the audience couldn't. Oh, I admire music and musicians, they have a genuine talent and their craft is unlike any other. Rock n' Roll music inspired many things to be created and here are a few items I chose to share that I liked and were obviously RockStar inspired.

My future car??

I'm always amazed by the innovation in GREEN products nowadays, but this one really blew me away! I admit I drive a luxury car and have been for the last 2 yrs. However, once my lease is up, I will definitely consider getting some type of hybrid vehicle. This Star Trek looking car below is by a company called 'APTERA'. What an interesting look and here's a description from the manufacturer:

The Aptera has a 2 plus 1 seating configuration. The two front seats are arranged as standard side by side seating. There is also a center infant seat behind the driver and passenger. The side doors open to the front and upward completely inside the front wheel track so you never have to worry about hitting the vehicle parked next to you or damaging your door while exiting your Aptera in a tight garage. There is enough storage in the rear for 15 bags of groceries, or 2 full size golf club bags. And the Aptera is even big enough for a couple of seven foot surf boards and any associated beach accessories. Sadly enough, they're only available in California (they're working on this issue). It retails for $26,900.

I hope they have them in Vegas by the time my lease is up, I might just get one!

MadeByGirl JUST LAUNCHED and Environmentally-Friendly.

I’m back & excited to announce the NEW LAUNCH of my site! With all the environmental problems happening these days, I’ve decided to head into a totally different direction with my business. Even though I’m selling the last few tables, I’ve decided that a greener approach would be a smarter way to go. I like helping people and if spreading the word through my designs can bring even more awareness to the public on the global warming issues, then that is what I want to do. I’m launching a line of Greeting Cards, which I like to call ‘Eco-friendly designer cards’.
