Alicia Parsons Home Tour...(Via Made by Girl)

Alicia who owns Akimbo, a quirky invitations, announcement & greetings company has sent me pics of her home to share with you. She lives all the way in Adelaide, South Australia in a townhouse with her hubby!
To top things off, Alicia also writes a blog called, 'Atypical Type A' where you can find her blogging about a variety of home projects she is taking on along with the sources that inspire them!

One of my favorite parts of her home is the courtyard. It's so cozy & inviting! It's the kind of outdoor space I could see my friends gathering for a nice relaxing dinner. Lovely! Thanks Alicia!

  20. Jen,
    love her house - I was thinking - why don't you do a couple of pillows in the black ikat for your office? Would look great with the black shelves...

  30. Wow, thank you for the great response! I sometimes feel like our home is the unsophisticated little sister of other bloggers' homes so I really appreciate your sweet comments.

    @Lemondropdreams:
    Yes, it's a light. My brother bought it for me (does he know me well or what?).

    @Libby:
    This is probably not very helpful, but I bought the key at a shop here in Aus called House & Garden. I have seem similar ones on Etsy though. Happy hunting!

    @Silentai:
    The art above the console is just a piece of fabric stretched over a cheap canvas. Super easy and cheap way to fill a wall.

    Thanks again to Jen and your lovely readers xxoo

  31. LOVE the outdoor seating area! and the fresh wall colors. I love homes that are beautiful and yet feel so "Lived in" and cosy. I'm currently renovating my house and so far it's just a big pile of mess!!

  32. ELIZABETH SULLIVAN: I may be getting some black and white curtains - alot more affordable for now for this space..not sure if they will look nice, but we'll see. I thought about some IKAT pillows for my bedroom actually!
