  1. Oh the second to last one, the little blue home, is just gorgeous! I think it would be almost fun to live in one of these, but Im not sure you would get a lot of stuff in here... Then again you can't fit a lot of stuff into most New York City Apartments!!

  2. If I had the money I'd buy one in a second. I think the skinny home idea is really cool.

  14. Hi! I just started reading your blog recently and felt like I should comment. I work as a decorator here in NYC and I just did a house that sold for 6 million. The children's rooms were so small they could only fit a twin bed and desk!
    I love your blog :)

  16. I love tall, skinny places like these! Great for the legs + fun for decorating. Why not while you're young, right?

Thank you also for your comment the other day...I wanted to let you know, too, I have your poster "I love you, blogs and coffee" in a silver frame on my white wall in my office. Makes me happy every time I look at it :)

    xo,

  17. While they look gorgeous, I actually felt claustrophobic looking at them. I imagined myself bumping into the bed legs every time I squeezed past. My poor shins!

  18. Check my little house for the summer is 2 meter wide...
In that type of houses you have to be very very organized!

  19. Oh goodness, no. I'd like to be able to stretch my arms, at least, without touching both sides of a room at the same time.

But for people who absolutely must live in a certain area...I guess it's the best solution.

  20. Wow! You must really love New York to pay such an amount for a space... I am lucky to live in the midwest where houses are relatively inexpensive. But then again I don't have access to hundreds if not thousands of galleries, customers, and art dealers either...

  23. They look so cool, but as you said I am not so sure about living in one like these. How much stuff can we put in it?

  27. man, I've been having a hard time with my 14' wide home. now I feel like a spoiled brat! I'm sure people that live here are very clever with furniture placements, but I don't think I could do it. Maybe if the ceilings are really high it would help.

  28. They are really gorgeous, but I don't think I would like to live in one of this, maybe an atelier or studio to my paintings and handmade crafts.
    Nice blog.
