An Idea...

May 15, 2007 4 Comments

I thought of an interesting idea to label some photos for a presentation. I placed ribbon on them and held the ribbon down with rhinestone studs. Then I wrote the names of the designs on each ribbon. It looks cute and makes them a lot more interesting!! Sorry abut the crappy pics though....the camera just didn't agree with me that day.

Pretty Pillows by Mua

I've been working on some new home decor, PILLOWS to be exact. I came up with several designs and here are a few that I'll be selling through my website: MadeByGirl. I currenlty only design and sell coffee tables but thought I'd incorporate some of my tables designs onto pillows. Some of the designs are hand painted on faux suede and some have beautiful antique brass studs. I can't wait to show them all to you!

What a good mood this put me in....

I meant to place this in my blog and totally forgot. I made front page of the VIEW newspaper here in Nevada. Yay! With my table designs of course. However, I didn't know I had made the front cover until the editor mailed the copies to me. For full article go to Press page of my store.

Exceptional Dining

Here are some really cool dining spaces. These are from the Living Etc. website, which I really dig. In this first pic, the chandelier over the table looks amazing with this dining set. I've noticed so many chandeliers lately in mags. Even over a bed....interesting.

Rockstar Pad

Rock n' Roll Edwardian Mansion in London of course. Jezebel lives here and is married to one of the band members from ColdPlay. No wonder this pad is so sexy! I just LOVE their style and that large skull pic above the fireplace is quite unique. Takes guts to put that pic up there. Anyway, this is very Rock n Roll, much like my own coffee table designs: madebygirl. These pretty pics were pulled from one of my favorite sites: Living Etc. Unfortunately, this is the only size pics they had on the site.

Lets not forget my designer coffee tables from my website. This one is called 'FREE LOVE'. The beautiful red heart is made of suede pigskin surrounded by tiny faceted tacks. The wings are zebra print hide where you can actually feel the hairs. Of course, my tables are more like pieces of art, so they are for people that like unique furniture and conversation pieces. I do custom work so please email me if interested. Off to L.A. tomorrow morning, will be back Thursday with more.
