Ecelectible Parts 4 U....Asian Influence

Sorry for being MIA yesterday....had some personal issues to deal with & all is resolved now thank God!

Now that I'm back.... I wanted to blog about a shop I found called Eclectible Parts 4 U. This shop caught my eye because of all the vintage & Asian influence items they have available. I love all kinds of vases & home accessories, so this shop is ideal for ANYONE looking for rare & unique pieces to bring into your home! There's something really cool about owning something from the 1950's or 60's don't you think?

I don't have a ton of vintage in my place unfortunately, but I'm looking to add some once we build the dining area console - a project that is loooong overdue!

Anyhow.... I also noticed how the shop owner came up with the name Eclectible. Using two words.... Eclectible & Collectible which mean:

"ECLECTIC" : Selecting or choosing items from a variety of sources and styles generally from multiple sources.

"COLLECTIBLE" : An object that is valued in certain circumstances or sought after and popular to collectors due to its uniqueness and rarity.

Vintage Asian home accessories are always a BIG hit in my book, they make for great conversation pieces as well!

Do you have any vintage items in your home?? If so, what ??

Tess's Home Tour...(Via Made by Girl)

This week I am also bringing you a home in Pennsylvania that belongs to a couple named, Tess & Jesse. Besides being a blogger, Tess also runs an online shop called Cozy Little Cave, where you'll find original paintings she's created of some stylish cartoon-like women! This couple is also expecting their first baby in August & I'm curious to see how they'll be decorating the nursery!

I noticed in her bio we have a couple things in common, we both blog, have online stores, are Christians, and love colorful ART. The one thing we didn't have in common that I noticed was.....  I can't stand Dr. Pepper! Ha!

How cool is this attic stairwell? They placed paint chips as decor to add some color and interest!  Neat!

Lily of Birch + Bird: Home Tour...(Via Made By Girl)

Hello everyone! I've been pretty busy ever since my family arrived in town this weekend! I haven't had time to breathe...but instead have been playing tourist. I'm sure some of you know how that goes.

Nonetheless, it's great to see my mother, it's been a year since I've seen her! Hope you're weekend went well & that you got lots of things done. Not sure how the weather is in your area, but here in NV it's SUNNY & gorgeous today, thank God.

On another note, this Tuesday I bring another home tour your way.  This time, it's from Lily & Rachel, two VINTAGE junkies who run a blog & shop called, Birch + Bird.  For those of you who love Vintage items,  take a peek at their shop! I don't have that many vintage items throughout my own home, but it's always nice to see these things featured in the homes of others! Enjoy!

I really LOVE the idea of bringing beautiful interior fabrics and colors to the outdoors.  Is it just me... or do we rarely ever see COOL patio furniture?? I'm really drawn to interesting patio furniture, what a great idea right?

Well, Gardenhouse has captured this idea quite nicely. They have a vast collection of vintage pieces with a modern twist to suit both your indoor and outdoor areas. Dear Golden....pretty vintage galore!

Dear Golden is a cute little vintage shop (and one of our sponsors) that I really love! Of course, the items I posted here are some of my favorites from their shop. If you're heavy into vintage items or not, I think you may just find something here. I wish i had seen this Rose colored dress a few weeks ago, I would've bought it to wear at my B-day dinner party this Saturday! Oh well.

Tracy Nors Flick'r...bohemiam vintage homes

I came across Tracy Nors Flick'r page & fell in LOVE with all her beautifully shot pictures! I enjoy her decor style so much & she's quite a talent....making use of an old chandelier. Recycle and reuse. She wrapped it with fabric. Don't ask me how she got it on there, I will need to do my homework on that one....thinking I may do something like that for my kitchen! She also made that paper Mache bowl....nice! Enjoy her page here and her blog here.

Note: Not all the photos are of Tracy's home, a few (like the one of the dresser, the yellow cupboard, the dog on the daybed are of Kirsten's place). Her blog can be seen: at Fleur de Boheme.
