Coffee Lovers.... YES, I'm talking to you.  

I put together a few coffee-related items that you may want to gift out to family or friends who love coffee. Or maybe for yourself? About four years ago a friend of mine gave me a Nespresso machine - and I still use it & love it!  BEST gift ever. In case you didn't know, HiLine coffee pods can be used on Nespresso machines. They have some delicious flavors, I highly recommend them as gifts to friends. They're a tad bit more budget friendly than the Nespresso pods for those looking to spend less!

DESIGN: New Fall Home Collections

With fall in full effect and so many new collections out on the shelves, I thought I would put together a group of my favorite fall pieces for 2014. I quickly jumped to Rebecca Atwood's website as a starting point because I have been dying over her new patterns for the fall, the colors are so muted and perfectly moody for the holiday season.

After bouncing around to my favorite sites, I quickly found that black/gray, white and gold color combination is still as relevant as ever. From serving trays to textiles, this combo makes simple designs sophisticated, elevated and proven to blend well with different styles.

Another trend that has surprised me with its staying power is natural texture.  Storage pieces, accessories and layers are all about a chunky knit or weave and keeping the material true to its natural form. Natural textures are the easiest way to add warmth and complexity to a space.

New Year's Eve 'no-so-bling' Jewelry...

We all know NYE is around the corner...that means fancy dresses, suit & ties and bling, bling jewelry. However, if you're not into the whole New Year's Eve BLING - then perhaps you'll appreciate this post. I pulled together 7 pieces of jewelry that will STILL be stand- out pieces at any party! 

My favorite is #1 - which is from the new Kelly Wearstler collection. I wore mine for the first time this past weekend & got quite a few compliments. 


At first, my guy didn't know what make of it...in fact his exact words were, "I can make that with a piece of wire & a dowel."  I couldn't stop laughing & told him, "yea, but it won't be Kelly Wearstler." Ha!
