Happy F-r-i-d-a-y!!!! I've got some exciting news coming soon about a few SUPER cool collaborations I'm working on! Can't wait to tell you guys! In the meanwhile, FALL IS def HERE & I've been thinking about changing a few things in my home & updating the space. Know what I mean??

Like most of you, I search the internet to see if anything would work well with my current decor. I figured some of you may be doing the same in your place.... SO, I put together a few home accessories I thought you'd love! Ok, I CHEATED & included my own black & white 5"x7" LOVE print.

I'd love to know....Which item could you see in your home???

Design: Grays in Decor

Hello! November is halfway over & and the chilly days have finally arrived! Drew here, while Jen is settling into her new apartment I thought I'd bring you a hue that is sure to stand out this month & throughout winter. Gray. It's a cozy & welcoming color, exactly what we need during these holiday months.

Think of all grays, from dark to light. Using all shades of this hue is enchanting, much like an abundant snowstorm.

You'll see what I mean as you glance through each room...

Pick out key gray decor pieces to add to your living space and cuddle up with a warm blanket, a perfect read, with an espresso in hand.

Entertaining in Gold...

Hello everyone!

I'm already thinking about the upcoming Holidays, Thanksgiving & Christmas. I love Holidays! First, the world (for the most part) gets to celebrate these important dates.... & two, we get to DECORATE our homes for entertaining!
Dinner parties can be so much fun...!

For myself, I prefer to keep the guest list at about 5-6 people at my place - just feels more intimate.

What about you.. do you prefer bigger parties??

Speaking of parties...Since Gold is so IN this year, I was thinking it would be ideal to pick some of my favorite party pieces & revolve it around the color GOLD!  Below are all my picks if you're looking to spruce up your dining table for a party! Enjoy!

Any of you planning on having a party at home this year for the Holidays??

Adore Magazine's NYC Issue....

The newest issue of Adore Magazine hit the online blogosphere a few days ago & I felt right at home!  The issue was all about NYC - where I was born, but don't live anymore unfortunately.  However, I'll be in the NYC at the end of this month to visit my family! Woo hoo!!

As I've said before Loni Parker, the creator behind the digital mag is brilliant! You can see the evolution of the publication with every issue that comes out, each one keeps getting better & better! Don't you think?

Adore is definitely one of my top go-to (online) Design mags!

Living under a rock & haven't seen it yet? check it out.

See those coooool GOLD glasses on the table!?!?? I have those!

You can get them at Zgallerie.

Accessorizing....

This past weekend I went out & purchased a few items for the floating IKEA cabinets I posted about here.

I read ALL of your comments & suggestions on what I should place on the shelving & believe me, there were lots of good ones, so thank you!!!! Many of you has suggested adding lamps - but it isn't wide enough for a decent sized lampshade...& I didn't want to get mini-lamps, so I scratched that idea. Here's what I added...

I wanted to keep it relatively simple....but I think I may pile a couple more books on each side for more height....

The flowers are silk flowers I purchased awhile ago, don't recall where (sorry) but you can find them online I'm sure! They feel really nice & I love how they look in person! The white vase the flowers are in is from West Elm.

The little white vase pictured above is from ZGallerie. It's so cute & lightweight, can easily be moved around the house.

This polished brass vessel (below) holds a black candle from D.L. & Co. that is one of my favorites! Isn't the skull super cool?? The scent of the candle is made up of opium poppy, a blend Madagascar vanilla, green pepper, pink lotus, and perilla absolute. It is just amazing! Available at Barneys New York.

I've always wanted a piece of driftwood & instead of hunting for it myself in some town or buying it on Ebay, I decided to buy the one I saw at ZGallerie. It was perfect & super affordable at only $25!

All the books I have on a flat display are:

So, what do you think so far?
