M.M. LAFLEUR

Ok, this is not an "outfit-post blog" - but every now & then I enjoy sprucing things up & adding something different.  Sooo.....the people over at MM Lafleur sent this gorgeous dress my way as a gift. I'm so thankful....had to show you you!  It wasn't easy getting in front of the cameras again - it's not what I like to do.... So, here it goes.

I recently fell in LOVE-- with M.M. Lafleur.  From their take on a true definition of femininity to their simple, yet sophisticated style-- I was enamored from the beginning.  I definitely encourage all women to check out their collection & read their story.  I get so many emails from women all over the world telling me how much I've inspired them. But.... I too am inspired by other business women, and these two business owners are such an inspiration to me.

I'm so grateful to own a dress from their collection. The lovely dress I'm wearing, the Felisa (in sky), fits amazing- it's a size 6 & really accentuates my (barely there) curves.  This dress is perfect if you don't have a ton of hip action...like myself! ha! Graham Moss....(Via Made by Girl)

Graham Moss is an Interior Stylist who originally studied Graphic Design in Monash University in Melbourne. His style is unexpected and bold which is the reason I'm drawn to his work. 

I think many of us tend to ADMIRE bold & bright colors.... until we try to figure out how to incorporate them into our own homes. At which point we are left SCRATCHING our heads. Ever feel this way??

Seriously, this is why sites like Graham's can be so HELPFUL!!!  Whether we seek out professional SERVICES or try to add interest on our own, it tends to serve as inspiration!!

 

If you're AFRAID to paint an entire room, try adding a large piece of artwork (on the wall) in the color you love and see how you feel about it. It's a great way to test things out without COMPLETELY committing to it. Graham seems to bring color to spaces via furniture and accessories, which is also another great option!

Architect & Designer: Campion Platt...(Via Made By Girl)

Campion Platt is all over the place these days, especially with the launch of his book,  "Made To Order", which I have & love! He's an American architect living in NYC, and has designed homes for Al Pacino to Meg Ryan.  If you haven't seen what he looks like, he's quite the looker (no wonder he used to be a model way back when...) with a great tan & gorgeous salt & pepper hair.  

 

I first fell in love with Campion's work when I noticed photos of his work online and immediately had to purchase the book (which is filled with a bunch of colorful interiors)!  In the book, Campion highlights his own home, which is full of color and bright pieces! My favorites are his kitchen & the drop dead gorgeous purple couch. His HOME has definitely inspired me.....

My FAVORITE designer is.....

I've just discovered my FAVORITE designer, his name is Jamie Drake. I've seen tons of interiors by various designers but Jamie just fascinates me with his use of bold and vibrant colors. He isn't afraid to use pink and i LOVE pink! His designs are what I dream of making my home look like one day....soon! Brilliant site too, very easy to navigate.
