When UGLY turns into something Beautiful...

I found this unique apartment on the NY Magazine website in the home & design section, which by the way is one of my favorite spots to visit when I read stuff on their site! The resident of this lovely and uniquely decorated apartment is Sharon Coplan Hurowitz, a private art adviser. (hmm no wonder!) This amazing place came about when a WATER PIPE BURST & flooded her apt and she along with her husband and two kids had to vacate asap! She made a deposit on a NEW place (this one below) and called upon the decorating Gods to help her out. One of those was WORKac (who also worked on Diane Von Furstenberg's place on 14th street in NYC). Ok, now I'm jealous! For more on this amazing story and to see how Sharon describes her journey through this ordeal visit: NY magazine.

Lucky Kids!

I fell in LOVE with this shop called 'Childhood Interiors ' from the UK. Its totally colorful and soooo my style, if I had kids. My favorite is the typography pillows, how cute!!! I remember being a kid and not being that well off. Our sheets consisted of plain neutral colors & we probably had about a total of 4 sets. I have to say that kids nowadays have so many amazing and interesting options for their rooms, it would be a great time to be a kid!
