Nursery by Nest Design Studio

Sometimes I think about what it would be like to decorate a nursery & what kinds of art & decor I would add into the space. 

I ask myself things like would the art pieces be educational or purely aesthetically pleasing to the eye ? Would I paint the walls or add wallpaper? Would I fill the room with unnecessary toys? (hope not)
With that said, I wanted to share this gorgeous nursery for all you moms-to-be so that you would gain some inspiration if you're stuck on what to add into the space! This space was designed by Nest Design Studio using one of my Gold Love prints - which looks fab, don't you think? Belinda of Nest Design in Australia, put it all together for her client's baby!

Photography Inspiration: Hannah Blackmore

Hello everyone! It's Monday & it's back to work for many of us! How was your weekend? For me, I took things easy - however, after posting that I was looking for CONTRIBUTORS for Made By Girl, I had a TON of emails!! I'm literally still looking through them.... 

So far, I've narrowed my choice down to 6 contributors - 2 more to go!  I have NOT contacted anyone yet, so if you haven't gotten an email, don't worry!

I've been a fan of Hanna Blackmore's photography for quite sometime & after seeing her recent work on Peep My Style, I had to share it.

Ever feel like someone else sees things in the same way you do? In detail? 


My guy always tells me that I notice EVERYTHING! I like to think that's a good thing. SO what! I'm very detail-oriented & that's what I see in Hannah's photographs, LOVELY details.

Hannah works mostly out of Australia - it's a shame because I would've died to have her shoot some of my work!  But...... for those of you who live down under, check out more of her work via her site. Enjoy!

Alicia Parsons Home Tour...(Via Made by Girl)

Alicia who owns Akimbo, a quirky invitations, announcement & greetings company has sent me pics of her home to share with you. She lives all the way in Adelaide, South Australia in a townhouse with her hubby! 

To top things off, Alicia also writes a blog called, 'Atypical Type A' where you can find her blogging about a variety of home projects she is taking on along with the sources that inspire them!  

One of my favorite parts of her home is the courtyard. It's so cozy & inviting! It's the kind of outdoor space I could see my friends gathering for a nice relaxing dinner. Lovely! Thanks Alicia!
