Some of you may recall this 48x48 large painting I made awhile back & posted on my blog. Well, since then my tastes have changed...I feel more subdued these days. Th old color didn't go with all the new colors I've added to my home, so, it was time for a change. I painted over the red-orange & made it white, chocolate brown & light blue. I hung it at the top of my stairs (which you can see from the first floor when you look up). What do you think??

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to quickly say thanks so much for following my blog. Your support makes me feel so special, haha. Love your blog and this is a really cool idea.
Thanks again. Love.
I like the subdued one, of course. Did you do it on canvas or poster board? I've been working on a quote and have just done it on super larger paper but was thinking of transferring it to a larger medium. Would love to know what you used.
ReplyDeleteThat was one of my favorite things in your home, sooooo could have fit in my place, the red one;-)

ReplyDeleteHey... : ) I used a 48x48 canvas that I bought a few yrs ago from an art supply store. Then used acrylic paints for the letters and background. ; ) I think it looks way better on canvas.
AYLA:
ReplyDeleteI don't actually recall how much the canvas cost...sorry.
It's beautiful- I love the black and white.
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool and so pretty!
