Heather Dunbar where are you??
I was re-arranging my home office and throwing away a few magazines....I know unbelievable. But I have sooo many. Anyhow, I looked through an old issue of Domino magazine and noticed these cool graffiti pillows by Heather Dunbar. I haven't been able to find a website for her. So if anyone does please let me know. I really like them and better to have graffiti as decor then on side of buildings etc. Finally graffiti put to good use!
hey jennifer, i saw this issue back when it first came out. Noticed the pillows too. But didn't see much info on her.
ReplyDeleteTom A. :)
i'm not too crazy about the pillows as i'm the opposite, i love graffiti (taseteful/artisitc graffiti) on walls rather than fabric but that chair is stunning!!! i love how they mixed the two together - very sutle but definitely works.
ReplyDeleteagree on that chair, it is stunning. Didnt see any info on that either. Were they drunk when they shot this ? haha
ReplyDeleteThese pillows are available through Brooklyn boutique The Future Perfect. They are currently updating their website but I was able to order a pillow over the phone. Buyer beware, these things cost a fortune! Good Luck
ReplyDeleteHey, trying to source info about her i came across your website! she is part of the american design club. other than that still very little info on her!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Ms. Dunbar does not own the copyright to those graffiti images (and copyright law does apply, see Tats Cru vs. Rosenstein). The images were not created by Ms. Dunbar and were taken directly from works around NYC. She could/may find herself out of a significant amount of money in the near future.
