Hi MadebyGirl readers! Sam here, back to share more design inspiration with you!
I am currently in the process of creating a design plan for a client's powder bath, which is one of my favorite rooms to pull together. It's easier to take design risks and do a bolder look when the space is smaller in scale. Here are a few of my favorite ways to spruce up a powder room.
1.) Adding a bold wallcovering is a must:
2.) In addition to wallpaper, I love monochrome powder bathrooms in a cheery color:
3.) Finally, adding little touches to a powder room can give it extra warmth and personality. I love monogrammed hand towels, fresh flowers, and other small mementos:

I love the monochromatic powder room. It's so fun to design, because like you said it's smaller, and you can do so much with it! I think it's important for it to be well put together and represent me, as it's the room guests use when they come over.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, Jen. I'm sure your design will be wonderful. xoxo

ReplyDeleteSam I love these! I have been dying to try out the first look from Loony, they say the designer adhered marbled paper from a craft store to the walls, but I can't find any info on how. I'm afraid it would fall off if I did it! :-/
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I am loving every picture. I have a powder room that needs a lot of work so i`ll definitely be referencing this post! xx
