I recently came across New York-based interior designer, David Scott while browsing the web, and oh my goodness, he does some incredible work! I looked through his entire online portfolio, and he's definitely a breath of fresh air. 

His work is sophisticated and tailored to fit each homeowners lifestyle, while keeping this aesthetics as a designer. There are so many designers, especially in New York City, but he's definitely one I'm keeping my eyes on. I've never hired a designer for my own home, but was always curious about what others thought of their experiences.

    David is definitely talented with his work and he has a great eye for style. I've always wanted to hire an interior decorator, but as of right now I still live with my parents so I'll have to wait a few more years (broke student status). However, his rooms are a great source of inspiration.

    Never have! He has art everywhere! I wonder how that works since art is so personal. Does he pick all of the art himself or does it all get approved by the owner?
