These days we're all about color. What the HECK happened to BLACK?
Anyone else sort of miss it? I love the whole color craze, neons & so forth, but once in awhile I like to play it safe & dress all in black. There's something cool & mysterious about black, don't you think?
Below are some of my favorite picks from the Michael Kors 2012 collection - pretty cute stuff! In fact, so nice I'm considering exchanging these Alexander Wang booties I bought last week (that didn't fit, ugh) to a pair of open toed MK booties you see blow. These are HOT!
Are you still wearing all black? Or have you ventured into the COLORS trend this season?
It's kind of funny...for years I felt like I needed to always wear colourful clothes. Now, just when colourful fashion is being embraced everywhere, I'm finally sporting the majority of black, navy and grey clothing! Go figures ;)

I love both black and colors. When I got lots of energy and want to be noticed, I'll go for color. When I want to go incognito, play it safe or be sofisticated, I'll wear black. Black is so hot and sexy with high heels and jewelry. Have a nice day Jen.

I have always been a black girl in fashion and home decor! This season I ventured into a bit of color and it felt good,but I am looking forward to getting back into the black! Black is sexy and those booties are hoooot!

ReplyDeleteI color coordinated my closet the other day so everything was sorted by color... found out that 3/4 of my wardrobe is BLACK! hah! So, although I like to mix it up with color sometimes, black will always be my go-to. Those booties are kick ass. Get them immediately!

Every now and then i think we definitely need to inject some black-ness into our style. It's actually quite a versatile color that's classic which will never go out of style. and i mean EVER! lol

ReplyDeleteI will always love black in my wardrobe. I can't help but think of some of the famous greats that always sported black. I.e. Johnny Cash, Audrey Hepburn.
ReplyDeleteI have that MK iPhone case and it really is THE BEST IPHONE CASE! (Except when you want to take a bunch of photos, then it's a pain.) But it's super cute, functional and stylish! As much as I love the black one for it's simple sophistication, I own the python one :)
