Hey guys! I'm Jocelyn from The Stylish Type. I'm so excited about joining Made By Girl and getting the chance to bring you a little dose of style inspiration for the day. As an introduction, I wanted to share with you my absolute most favorite thing to incorporate into outfits...a pop of color!
Color can make such a statement and is one of my favorite ways to dress up an outfit. Mix and match them for a color blocking effect or add one bright piece to a neutral all black or white outfit for major impact. Here's a look at a few colorful must-haves currently on my wishlist.
I love the blazer and the pants and would actually probably wear them together with a white t-shirt and nude pumps.

Totally agree! I think a pop I color can complete an entire outfit!! I am new to blogging --newbie I guess you can say :) so I welcome you and hopefully we can follow each other or if you have any tips to share please do!!!

Loving this post. Yes, a pop of color here and there can make an outfit. Jeans and a black tank top can be spiced up with bright heels and accessories ie bag, necklace and bagles.

For me, I've been adding color mostly with jewelry pieces and nail polish. But, I also do the colorful jeans, and a few colorful tanks too...! :)

Color is so essential to my wardrobe! I've been doing the brights in every which way, including my bras! Just not all of it at the same time...or maybe I have been doing that?!

Great colors! I am opposite I think...I usually wear the color and do neutral accessories. I just realized I don't have a proper LBD...need to fix that an accessorize with color stat! ;)
I choose flattering colors to wear near my face then add colorful jewelry, scarf or purse. I am a color lover, and especially like the necklace and purse you showed.
Right now I'm wearing a lot of pants that POP of color. Greens, red and lavender pants have been my weekly looks in the past few months. I think when Fall comes around I might switch to jewelry pieces or bold solid bag. Love the picks!
I'm big time coveting those shoes!
