Toronto High Rise Living.....(on Made By Girl)

Hello everyone! It seems like FOREVER since I've blogged -but in reality it's only been a couple days! I've missed all of you, and yes, I've been reading your comments. Thank you for the antique shops you all posted & if you haven't done so yet, please post the good ones in your town! OMG! Texas was VERY H-U-M-I-D, I had no idea! However, the Colorado weather was quite nice in comparison.

As many of you know, I am a FAN of the NY Times & love their home & garden section! It's where you can find info and pics on homes from all around the country. Homes such as this one in TORONTO. Any of you from there? I visited Toronto about 10 years ago (too long, must go back) & was very impressed with it!  It reminded me of New York in a way & there was never a shortage of things to do there...that's for sure!  I heard they have some amazing condos as well....let me know what you think of Toronto & of this AMAZING home that is inspiring me to go back & visit!!

You definitely need to come back for visit and I'll give you a tour of my favourite places. There's lots of revitalization going on in older parts of the city which is fantastic. One of my favourite places is the the Distillery District (http://www.thedistillerydistrict.com/).

It's funny - looking at these pics I know exactly what building this is! I walk by it several times a week :)

This is another beautiful space in exactly the same building! :)

Toronto is my old stompin ground - back in my magazine art directing days. Now I'm just 2 hours north where everyone comes to escape to their cottages. Toronto is a fantastic city filled with unique little shops, heritage homes, modern condos and restaurants to die for! You must come back and visit! : )

Love that condo - especially the lovely light-filled bedroom.

We literally drove through Toronto - stopping for the observation deck at the CN Tower and fireworks for Canada Day a few years ago.

Oh, Jen, this place rocks! I'd love to live somewhere like this for a few years - there is something so cool about loft-type apartments. And, those ceiling to floor windows are to-die-for! xo

I have always wanted to visit Canada and would love to visit Toronto. Anyone I have met from Toronto has always left a good impression on me so I think its my duty to visit their hometown. :)

ooooh I love Toronto. I live in New York but grew up just under Lake Ontario so Canada was super close. The city is so beautiful, clean, vibrant and diverse. They have so many amazing "little cities" where you can get authentic food from almost any part of the world. I was also fortunate enough to work with a lot of Toronto's homeless and learn more about the human spirit than I ever thought I could... xo
