I was so HAPPY to receive an email from one of my readers pointing me to pictures of her home, (which both her & her family built in Stockholm). However, this beautiful home is NOW on the market, but Susanne is still so proud of it she wanted to share it with all of you! I have to say my favorite part of her home is the kitchen...with unique with modern cabinetry & black walls on one side.
Some may find the rest of the home a bit too stark for their taste, but I always believe you can DECORATE white walls with colorful artwork! For those of you living in her area, you can view the listing for the house here.
What a lovely home! I love what they've done with it, but it holds so much additional potential as well.
I have to admit I was curious enough to take a look at the real estate listing. No way could you get a build like that (especially with all the custom features) for under $200,000 in Denver ... I'm thinking a move to Sweden may be in order! ;)
I really like the minimalist Swedish aesthetic. (I may be generalizing, but it seems like everything I see in design blogs has a similar kind of spareness.)She should be proud--she did a great job!
Katie Lynn you must have seen the price all wrong..I live in Stockholm, Sweden and that house is way more than USD 200,000! It was sold I presume, but my guess is that it went for more than USD 640,000. That´s the normal price in Stockholm-area. You don´t find a house under USD 400,000 in Stockholm (unfortunately)
Beautiful home with interesting features at every corner. I think I'm too messy to live there though. :D
