Monday is here again - working, working, working. I enjoyed my weekend & you?? Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting several bloggers prior to Blogfest & we shared stories and appetizers, cocktails and so on. Fun time!
Today I'm bringing you an easy breezy DIY project - from shoes I actually had on last night. These particular heels have been a part of my wardrobe for about 4 years now. I've never been crazy about them so, with all the neon craze going around, I figured, why not add some neon accents to them?? ....with PAINT!
All you need is paint, creativity & a good pedicure to make your shoe look

I chose a hot pink color by Pebeo paints, a favorite of mine! Then I added a few other accents in gold & black. The design I chose was inspired by the painting in the background....lovely isn't it?
Now hopefully you'll get out your old shoes, and put them to use!

ReplyDeleteI've painted shoes before as a bridesmade to match what the bride was wanting, but didn't think about being more creative to actually make a pair that I wanted! Such a fun (and original) idea!

ReplyDeleteI just did DIY toe cap shoes using a pair of shoes I wasn't really that fond of and a can of spray paint. They turned out great and I've worn them more since painting them. I love the colours you chose for yours, especially the pink base which pops against the bronze :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen a few painted shoes tutorials recently that turned out super cool, but these are the first I've seen that I'd actually wear. Very pretty. You have me hunting for a pair in my own closet that are screaming for a neon make over.

ReplyDeleteeklatt: Yea, it does take a little bit of courage to pick the right shoe and just go for it. You don't want to ruin one, thats why i suggest using an older shoe you don't wear as often... :)) Good way to practice!
