Fall is officially here & I CAN'T wait to wear all my boots & blazers. This FALL I'm looking to buy a poncho for my upcoming trip to NYC at the end of October.
I don't know about you...but I remember back in the day I'd spot someone wearing a poncho on the street & think - "who the heck wants to wear something that looks like a bag??!?!!?!?!?"
Guess what.....Now I WANT to wear this bag!

I feel the EXACT same way. Just last year, I hated ponchos and this year I'm obsessed with both ponchos and capes. I guess that's fashion for you!

I agree! I was sort of horrified recently when I realized that i was liking the ponchos I was seeing. Some trends take time to grow on me but they nonetheless do....oh well! enjoy them while they're in! bag or not, they ARE comfortable :)

I had a poncho several years ago in yellow. I felt so elegant and sophisticated in the shop. I bought it, but I think I put it in once. It was to grown up for me back then. I like them a lot though, and think it look great on other girls.

ReplyDeleteWhen I had my first son I bought every poncho I could find because not only were they in style but they were perfect for nursing. A few years ago I got rid of all of them and now they are back in style. I almost wish that I would just keep things in bins until they come back in style again.

I thought the same thing about skinny jeans years ago, and now it's all I own. I'm learning to just give in to new trends because I know I will eventually anyway, but I'm seriously lovin' the poncho look. I think it's comfort meets high fashion, kind of like pajama jeans...totally kidding :)
