Wow!! .... is this week going by fast or what?!? Mid week already? Just so you ALL know, I do read your comments even though sometimes I don't get around to responding to every single one! I APOLOGIZE if one of those was yours. Things have been very busy, lots of orders as well as preparing to launch my new shop, Cocoa & Hearts. Stay tuned!
But, today I bring you a super CHIC home tour. It's from Chantal who blogs over at Beau Lifestyle. Let me just tell you, this girl has GREAT taste! After looking at her home, I've been so inspired to get a vintage silver plated ice bucket! Did you see how cool hers is???
She says HER GUY picked it up & bought it for her as a surprise! It's got a neat CROCODILE pattern & it's also square shaped.... (not your typical ice bucket). To top things off, it also came with 6 matching croc silver plated coasters! You're so lucky Chantal, that ice bucket is so unique!

So tell me, have you seen any cool ice buckets out there?? If so, I'd love to know your sources.
below: oooh there I spot one of my LOVE prints. I really like her idea of placing the print in an oversize frame! NEAT!
This is definitely one of my favorite home tours so far...hope you enjoyed her home! Thanks Chantal for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI wrote you a mail, Jen...but i guess you've got too much on your plate...just wanted to know if there are any rules about the images/content that one sends you for these house-tours. Also, can it be just a room instead of a whole house? Do let me know if you have a moment. Thanks!! xx meenal

ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite home tours! It's hard to even pinpoint just a few things I love, but that chandelier in the dining area is awesome! I also Love the Way she framed your print =)
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Can really tell she loves lucite and all things see through :)
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet comments made me blush, thank you, i am just an amateur decorator and blogger ;)
ReplyDeleteThe chandelier above the diningtable is from Moooi lamp shade shade series by Jurgen Bey design, it was the first thing I bought for the apartment a few years ago.
The little bowls that I keep jewelery in are thrifted and costed me 50 cents each.
The oversized love frame is a frame from Ikea.
The painting is made with oilpaint, and used 3 sizes wide brushes and made upwards and downwards strokes, in many diferent layers and colours, in teh end i used bubble plastic to get some dots/spots on the painting, no water was used, but terpetine.
The towel in the kitchen is from Zarahome, love that shop.
Thanks ladies, you made my day!
Just too many things I love about this to list - can I go live there pleeeeeease?! xx
