Canadian Blogger Carissa has a great DIY project on her blog where she creates her VERY own chevron patterned rug. That's right! Let's just say, it's super pretty & NOT cheesy looking. She basically bought a flat loop area rug & hand painted ALL the zig zags! You can see the tutorial here.

I love that rug! It's hard to believe it is DIY- it totally looks prof dyed.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of the wild prints and cheery colours! Great rug, too. I DIY'd a chevron table - never thought about doing a rug. Some folks get all the genius! Now I'm eyeing up what other goodies could use a dose of chevron . . .
