Where is your clutter? So organized, I Love it :)
neat! that bookcase is a perfect fit by that staircase, very smart use of space=)
HI LAURA: I hid it in the closet...just kidding! I'm just very tidy & clean. With 2 dogs I have to be or else I'll go crazy. Either way, the shelf looks neat because I'm not done filling it in just yet...need more time & books.
OMG! Jenn, I love this!!! Dangit you! This is freakin' amazing! I may just have to post this on my blog! How lovely!
Looks really good jen! i like what rachel said, good use of space...
love the bookshelf! have fun filling it in. i'm not sure if you ever check out thisyounghouse.com, but they did a post not too long ago on styling a bookcase. you might find some inspiration in either their suggestions or the photos that they provided. here's the link:http://www.thisyounghouse.com/2009/03/how-to-style-a-bookcase/enjoy!

OMG! I would need three of those for my books, I'm addicted! It's lovely and it matches perfectly with your living room!!Love,Dana
that looks ridiculously good. i'm jealous...i need a new home for my books...
Those look great! I love the way they are going along the stairs.
those cases are just fantastic -- I can't wait to see what you fill them with ^_^
I couldn't fill that whole shelf either although I just started a book club with my friends and I'm sure I would be able to fill it quickly. I'm the kind of girl who likes to own the books she reads, not check out from a library.
I want that book case so badly!
j'adore et le chien derrière aussi j'adore!
You have a nice collection coming along = )
I don't know if you ever shop secondhand or not but I buy most of my books from habitat for humanity and secondhand book stores. I LOVE books and dream of having a library in my home like the one off Disneys Beauty and the Beast one day..lol. Anyway I buy books that usually retail for $30-$100+ for 20cents-$1 this way.
I HATE YOU!!!! I am dreaming of this book shelf for ages..and you have it..the right color too...did I mention that I hate you?!
These shelves are absolutely beautiful! I am green with envy. :)
so cute! just an idea. i saw it somewhere. since the bookshelf is white, you could organize the books by color (on the spine). it looks really good. :]
I'm impressed with your bookshelves. You don't need more books. You need baskets, vases and sculptures to finish off the interior!
Nice and very neat....
Very creative use of space and design. I love bookshelves - they add so much to a room.:)
Love the bookshelf! It looks as though it must have always been a part of the house -- and I'm sure it will be overflowing with books in no time!
My bookshelf started off sparse like this too, but filled out in no time. You've done such a great job, and really maximised the space. x
super inspiring! I wish I had an open staircase!
This is looking great! I want your bookshelf.
TYCHREL:Yes! I've read their blog before, it's great! Thanks for the link, I looked at it last night & was pretty helpful! : )))
EILENE:thank you for your nice words, BIG SMILE : )) I would love to look at your blog..!
WELCOME TO MY WORLD:Hmmm a book club? Sounds like that is going well for you...I also like to own the books I read.
CHAVAH-I have no problem with secondhand books/bookstores. I haven't found any here in Vegas...OR maybe there is one or two...Just haven't come across them. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. The secondhand deals you're getting sound GREAT!
CHANTELLE:Yea that's the idea...I hope it fills up in no time like yours did.
It looks fantastic! You definitely need more books though :P
