*By the way, this shot was taken with my new Canon Rebel xs - loving it so far!
Home update...shelving.
Finally got my shelves from Target, however I do not recommend them. My guy had to put liquid nails on the hangers because they wouldn't stay in the wood. Basically, the wood was too weak to hold them in. So, I'll be looking at IKEA shelves next time I'm in AZ. Enjoy your Fri, Sat. & Sun. everyone! I'll be pretty busy this weekend, but you can catch me on my Twitter - tweeting away whatever is on my mind at the moment.
Man I love Target. Guess they aren't always good for everything. I've been needing some new shelves too. Can't find the right ones to match our other furniture pieces though.
ReplyDeletethese look great for displaying art!
ReplyDeleteI need some shelves as well, but I think I'm gonna make them myself.
looks really good though inspite of having to use the glue. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about your struggles but wow they sure do look stunning!xo

Love it! Even if it was a pain to put up, very pretty display.
ReplyDeleteWhat lens are you using?
ugh sorry that didn't work out for you. target can certainly be tricky. i've tried west elm shelves that are more expensive, but they held up really well. have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletei just got one this week, too! i love it and beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteBummer about the shelves. I agree that Ikea's floating shelves are pretty awesome. Very sturdy (and heavy!) so make sure your walls will be able to withstand them.
ReplyDeleteGood shot, must be a very good camera. Love the shelves, nice to put pic s on.

I have the IKEA ones and they are amazing. So simple to install (I did it myself and I am not handy at all) and you can't beat the price.
ReplyDeleteI am a Nikon girl, but I am glad you are enjoying your new camera. I just got a new Nikon myself...so much fun!
Your shelves look great, here's hope they stay on the wall.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it? It takes such awesome pictures. Very cute shelves!
