I was so excited when I came across Italian Painter, Vincenzo Rizzo's work! I couldn't help myself & bought one of his original 8x10 paintings for $10. I hung it up & received so many compliments, that I decided to order 2 more! I really love his style, the women all have such emotions in their eyes. It's just breathtaking to see such nice work of art from Italy on my wall! Visit his shop here. I bought the first & the 3rd one!
*Below is the first one I purchased for my wall of art. Most of the frames I purchased from 'Michael's' craft store & Walmart. If they aren't white or gold, I usually spray paint them. I think the money should be spent on the artwork, the frames can always be worked on...
where do you get all of your super cute frames!
ReplyDeleteHi SHANNON:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment.... I get the frames usually from Michael's craft store...or Walmart...then spray paint them if they're not white or gold... : )
I think most of the $ should be spent on the art...!
Love these last 3 posts!!! I want one of each hehehe.
ReplyDeleteooooh the Audrey one is precious. Great find!
ReplyDeleteI love his style, very nice. Thanks for introducing him.
ReplyDeleteI also feel the same about the frames. I usually pick most of mine (the smaller ones at least) up at thrift stores and do to them whatever makes me happy. :)

ReplyDeleteWow! I love them all, too. I'm looking for art pieces that fits well with a small condo & I think these may be just right. Do they come in bigger sizes? If not, I guess, I could always do a collage. Thank you for the post!

ReplyDeleteWow! That wall of art is impressive! I love the mix of colorful prints, meaningful words and other art. I love it all! A big wall of hanging art is difficult to pull off! It could wind up looking super busy and cluttered but the way you have it styled looks really clean.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this... these paintings are so gorgeous and such an inspiration. They remind me a little of Izaak's illustrations, but obviously more high-art. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are a perfect way to start an art "collection" though.
gorgeous! very audrey hepburn-esque!
ReplyDeleteIkea has some great frames too, and super cheap.
