I was so impressed by a couple shots of Lisa's (a fellow blogger) home that I asked her to get more pics to me. Thankfully she did & I'd like to share them with you! Lisa is such a creative type, I LOVE that! Creativity is what moves me, in the same way that music does. It definitely nourishes my spirit. You can also find Lisa blogging about her work & her home in Australia here. She has a colorful line of interesting handbags & jewelry on her Etsy store, Tango & James. Thanks Lisa for sharing your home with us!

ReplyDeleteWow, thank you so much everyone! Yes, as you can see I adore fun and colour and DIY. My home shows my personality and my love of light and colour. I paint, sew, decorate, build stuff, collect stuff, and because I do so much of it myself, it is all very budget friendly.
ReplyDeleteThe inspiration board is a transient work in progress, images, fabric swatches, all layered over canvas panels, it's just one of the cool features in my studio/occasional guest room.
cheers,
Lisa

Hi Everyone --
ReplyDeleteLove the blog!
The dining room chairs in Lisa's photos, where are they from?
I just bought a set on Craigslist for 70 dollars (lady was cleaning out her basement) and am wondering who makes them. I don't have great images of them, but the below links should be ok?

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Veronica, great find! I also thrifted my dining chairs $20 for the 4! They were about to end up in landfill - can you imagine??? I love them but have never been able to track down their history.
ReplyDeleteThe black and white cushions are another easy DIY, in fabric by Aunty Cookie (Australian designer) "Letterhead" fabric panels, check out her shop http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=36645
That place is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThose are cute veronica...I have no idea either who makes them...but I would add some nice colorful cushions... : )
