Sooo....we'll be moving NEXT month to another apartment & I'll also be looking for a new desk for my studio. I really want gold legs on the new desk, and I am contemplating whether to go the DIY route by painting the legs gold, or not. A DESK with drawers is also ideal, and although option
a & f are super cute, I'm always opening & closing my current desk drawers...so, to avoid standing up all the time, drawers are top priority.
It needs to be sturdy & not feel cheap. Since I'll be using the desk everyday, it would be smart to invest in something good that will last! Same goes for a desk chair....
agree??
I'd love for you to help me choose, which is your fave?

F. Just...F.
ReplyDeleteI definitely was attracted to C and D first, but I feel like the shelf underneath of D would drive me crazy with my legs bumping into it. Love the crisscrossed legs, though!

I love C!
ReplyDeleteI vote for C. Love the drawers and the gold X legs. Moving is so much fun, but kinda hectic too. Saw your recent IG post and so happy for you and Matt that it's now certified :) Do I foresee a baby room for your next place? Please feel free to share your decoration ideas and you are more than welcome to start "nesting" pronto.

I love B! Can't wait to see what you choose, and how you decorate your new place!
ReplyDeleteOh I adore b, c & e, but with the legs painted gold. I agree, AI am loving the gold legs. E is my favorite because the drawers are kinda hidden, but it would take a bit more work.

Hi Jen! Sorry if this post is duplicate. If you are leaning toward c or e, try to test them out in person. I have/had a simiar model by Pangea and found the desktop a bit wobbly. My new reg 4 legged desk feels sturdier.
ReplyDeleteB!
ReplyDelete@luvmechoos: good point!! ...unfortunately some of these i wouldn't be able to try because they are only available online...

ReplyDeletewhat about option d?? You could change out the hardware for something gold/brass? I think the extra storage down below is nice!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI have D from ZGallerie. I did worry about my legs bumping into the shelf on the bottom, but they really don't at all. The desk is large (which I love because I need the space), the drawers are spacious inside to hold most everything I need at my desk and I actually enjoy the shelf underneath. I can keep notebooks and paperwork in binders underneath on the shelf that is tucked away but easily accessible. I work from home and sit at my desk for about 9-10 hours per day and still love the desk.
