Stupid me, I didn't ask her which brand they were - but they looked very similar to number 1 - (My favorite). I'm considering getting a pair of these BEAUTIES for the fall/winter season, I bet they'd go great with a pair of booties!
NOT ALL of the leggings you'll come across will be REAL leather, many will actually be faux - so MAKE SURE you read the descriptions carefully! Below are 6 different styles to choose from.
Would you sport this type of legging? Which do you like best?
1. oak
2. rag & bone
3. bcbg
4. tasha
5. bar iii
6. bcbg
great post! i own a pair of these that i actually scooped up at TJ MAXX (if you can believe it!) and i loveeee them! they are comfortable and edgy.

I'm currently on the hunt for a pair of full faux leather leggings, but I'm loving this panel option as well!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE leather leggings... but my bottom half would not look so hot in them. I wish I had the body for them! LOVE the panel ones- I saw someone else in them somewhere and they were amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! I've been trying to find myself a pair for a while!

I love the look of these too!
ReplyDeleteI own a pair from Topshop that kind of resemble the number 2 option you have shown. I was getting ready one night to go out and my roommate (a guy) asked me if I was wearing yoga pants...
In the words of Stephanie Tanner, "HOW RUDE!" Boys do not understand fashion.
FALLON: haha i can see how guys can think that..you're so right, most guys don't understand fashion.
ReplyDeleteThey have some awesome ones just like the Rag and Bone ones at F21 for under $20 right now!
ReplyDeleteI have bought ones... but I didn't wear them yet because its so hot here! I love them!

ReplyDeleteI love the look of these–I have a pair, but I haven't found quite the occasion to wear them yet!

I bought the bar iii ones and I am so excited to wear them!!
ReplyDeleteCute! I'm not sure these would be great on me, since I have muscular legs. I don't feel like drawing even more attention to them with the paneling. Haha. I have a few leather pair that I love...how was she wearing these at church? They just seem a little edgier. Would like to know the look!
ReplyDeleteNot sure these would look great on me as I have muscular legs...don't really like to draw more attention to them with panels! Haha. However, they are adorable. What was she wearing with them at church?
ReplyDeleteBRITTANY: Our church is pretty trendy - its full of young people & many of them enjoy fashion etc.
ReplyDeleteShe had a long coral colored shirt over it, looked great. Hers were similar to #1 :)
Fabulous!!! Love #3!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen,
ReplyDeleteI love them too. I got one last year from Club Monaco and I love it.
I love seeing ladies wearing leather leggings and find it amazing! but I think it will not suits me to wear this kind. But absolutely I love to see you wearing and post it here. This type well perfectly fit to sexy lady like you!:)

I wrote a post about these in faux leather for plus size woman a few weeks ago and purchased two pairs, one from asos curve and one from ebay.
ReplyDeletei love the first pair in this post, they are very similar to the ones i got from asos curve.

YES, i have a pair by helmut lang and they are AMAZING! my sis tried them and loved so much that she bought the same ones!
ReplyDeleteSo cute but im a bit larger hourglass so i dont think they would flatter me. I so easily see them with a flowy top and blazer and booties, and rocker accesories!
ReplyDeleteGotta cover the booty at church! Lol
Great round-up! Thanks! I'm hoping to get a pair too, but I'll have to stockpile some cool points first!

We're heading into Spring here in Australia but leather leggings, full or panel, faux or real were everywhere here last season. I had a pair of full leather ones from the season prior and lived in them with oversized jumpers and tunic tops. So comfortable! x KL
ReplyDeletei love them...a must with booties and black coat for fall!
ReplyDeleteVery Cool! This is def something I will choose Faux when making my selection. The price points you post are unrealistic for your average reader/follower!
ReplyDeleteJody justice: I posted price points from $69-$380. That's about the going price for this style of legging. Sometimes if you get something cheaper than $69, the legging leather part (faux leather) will tend to stretch and not look fitted after a bit of wear.
ReplyDeleteThese Barr III pants from Macys are perfect- thanks for finding them!

i've been seeing a ton of leather panels in leggings lately. they look so perfect for fall. i think I need to try out a pair. i've been into experimenting with fall trends lately!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic pieces! I spotted a great pair at Zara not too long ago, might need to swing back and pick them up.

I love the look of #1 and #5 they are so cool can't wait to find a pair!!!!

#3 and #5 are so bad ass! I would love to rock those.... however, I feel like you have to be a size 2 to have it look right. I tried some on the other day and they were not that forgiving on my hips!

#2. i have to have. :) xo.
ReplyDeleteThis trend is fab. These pants would look great with a loose white v neck and a structured black blazer. You can dress it up with heels or down with boots.
ReplyDeleteI saw the cutest pair of leather panel leggings at Ann Taylor and I had a 20 minute argument with myself about getting them later. I can really argue passionately...with myself.
ReplyDeleteLeggings are definitely not pants! One fashion faux pauxs that I can't stand is when someone wears a short T-shirt, sometimes just a tight tanktop, leggings and a pair of UGGs. I just don't get it, it's not flattering at all. Don't even get me started with the someone wearing a belly shirt and womens legwear
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
