Hi everyone, it's Amanda with some black & silver inspiration. Since fall is almost here, it's time to embrace the black with metallics again. Although I mostly prefer gold over silver, I still love a good silver accent around the home - be it light fixtures, table and chair legs, small tabletop accessories, or simple frames.
As we all know, anything black in your home creates an instant classy, edgy feel. But with a few touches of silver, you can notch up a monochromatic room to achieve that sophisticated style.

Love the idea of black and silver!! I often think of it as being a little to modern for my taste, but this posting shows how these colors can have that modern clean line look, yet still be inviting.
The placement of the furniture also stirs some ideas for me as I desire a change in my own apartment! Thanks for the posting--great layout!

I love this timeless color combo!
I usually prefer gold over silver, too, but these are beautiful and so sleek. I'm in love with the desk and chair in the first photo.

This post is so up my alley, you wouldnt believe it!! I have not been able to get on the black and gold train because black and silver was my my first love and I just love the sparkle and glam it brings to my rooms! Funny thing is I love to WEAR black and gold!! weird huh? Great post!!

I love the black and white sideboard picture - one of my favs!! I will also say I'm more into gold these days, but there is nothing wrong with a little mixture of metals. And you can definitely never go wrong with all black and white!
