I've been seeing a trend I love - Biker boots. Not just any kind, I love the ones that go up to your calves. Kind of a mid boot right? In fact, I was so enchanted with this type of boot that I bought the Jeffrey Campbell ones at ShopBop. Well, I had to return them because they were too tight! Apparently the sizes run small & they don't have my size ughhh!
I believe they have them at Free People - so I may buy them there anyway. I had biker boots in high school & they lasted FOREVER and were VERY comfy!

Target has biker boots on their site for $60! I have both the black and brown ones and they've lasted two seasons so far. Super comfy too.
ReplyDeleteThey're the Mossimo Katherine Engineer boots.
Ooh I like those! They seem to be a flattering length too. Must get some this winter :) xo K
ReplyDeleteI am divided on this trend. I LOVE them so much...but I'm not sure I am "cool" enough to pull them off! lol!
ReplyDeleteThat said, you have some gorgeous options here that may just entice me enough to go for it!

PS - Every chic gal should own a pair in NYC!! :-)
I love my Nine West biker boots! Too cute and they go with everything!
ReplyDeleteI love this trend too. I bought mine from All Saints. They're amazing, a little pricy but definitely worth it. They're the Damisi. :)Not only do these go with everything but you can wear them buckled, rolled down, among a few other ways.

Love this roundup! I got my Frye Veronica shorties last spring after seeing them everywhere in Toronto, and I am beyond obsessed with them! They are built to last and I wear them with everything. They're surprisingly versatile.

I LOVE the biker boot look. I got a pair from J. Crew I had been coveting forever. Turns out they're too big (what's with the sizing on these things?!) but I wear them anyway. I just love them too much to give up on them!
ReplyDeletejust bought a pair of frye...in love w/ them!
ReplyDeleteLOOOVVVEEE the little bit of "hard" mixed into soft and that's exactly what these biker boots do. I actually found a steal at a used clothing shop in LA before the biker trend was really in... a pair of Frye biker boots (looks a lot like letter f) for $60! I wear them constantly, they are so comfy and go with almost anything :)
ReplyDeleteI love love love these!!!!! So cute. And I love how they can make you feel like a bit of a bad ass but you can still kind of prep them out, hehe ;)
ReplyDeleteThey arent my personal style but I think they look great on others who pull it off!

ReplyDeleteHey Jen,
ReplyDeleteI love biker boots, I especially love the Fiorentini Bakers{mine here: http://galsintheknow.blogspot.com/2011/07/fans-of-firoenti-baker-boots.html}
They have a cult like following, they are quite pricey but can be found on sale during the seasonal sales at Barneys. They had a few great ones last week on sale, but all gone now, but if you keep an eye out, you may be able to snag yourself a deal.

They are like old comfy slippers and last forever.
Absolutely positively run large, a full size large.
Btw, GREAT Luck in NYC, So FAB for you and your hubby!
I'm a huge fan. The only size left happens to be my size...seriously thinking about purchasing even though our winter is over in Florida. There's always next Dec & Jan though!
ReplyDeleteI have a pair, I think they are from nine west actually. Love them, the only thing is I can only wear them with my skinniest of skinny jeans or leggings cause else they make you look frumpy.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely get a pair!
