One of my readers informed me that Brides Magazine Online was granted access to all of the stories from the late Domino Mag, remember them?!?!? Of course you do!
So, we'll all be able to see some Domino archives via the Brides.com site. According to the editor-in-chief, Julie Raimondi they'll be adding more & more in the weeks to come. Here's a little reminiscing below for you....

LOVE that first pic. Just said to my husband, I wish we didn't have a dog so we could have a bed like that!
ReplyDeleteWhen I heard this news on Poppytalk I nearly fainted! I adored Domino. But Lonny is a great substitute and of course our Canadian gems House & Home and Style At Home. : )

This is so exciting! Domino was so great, wish I had a bunch of issues to look through physical copies, too, but I don't. Such great images!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is a dream come true! I love Living Etc and AD from Spain.Check them out, because they are pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteSPLENDID LITTLE THRILLS:
ReplyDeleteOh! then we have the same favorite....mine is also Living Etc.!
Not sure I know AD from Spain though...will look for it.
I discovered Domino close to the end and wish I had more issues.
ReplyDeleteMy faves now are Living Etc. and Canadian House and Home.
ooh wonderful! I think blogs replaced my domino fix - can't wait to see more flashbacks - they always had the best layouts.
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous news because I loved Domino magazine. It was a constant source of images and ideas that I could get with. I still have some issues laying around and the book.
ReplyDeleteNo other magazine really takes the place for me, but I do love Living Etc.
I still have all of my domino magazine... I love them... so sad when they closed shop

I've been pretty happy with House Beautiful lately -- but my favourites are Living Etc and Canadian House and Home and Style at Home.
ReplyDeleteLOVED Domino.... Of course one of my favs is now Lonny - but I would love it so much more if you could actually get it in real life form - i love collected the paper variety!
ReplyDeleteAlso love the UK's Living Etc and the local Aussie "Real Living" is doing a really good job these days xx
wow - just had a quick scroll down all the other comments - Living Etc is definitely getting a lot of nods! x
I miss domino. I saved all my copies :) I still reread them...and I just got the book of decorating at the library.
ReplyDeleteyes and now dwell:)
ReplyDeleteI was a Domino reader. My favorite for home is now House Beautiful. I do occasionally look at the online magazines (of which there are now many great choices), but I have to confess, I really like holding a magazine in my hands, so for me, I'll always choose material over cyber.
ReplyDeleteSUSAN: holding a magazine in one's hand...I too love that feeling. I really hope it doesn't go away for good. What a shame it would be if all of our mags were only online!
