Sorry I haven't been able to post today. I've been working on this painting (below) most of the day. What a process.....I started with the illustration over the weekend & finally finished painting it (oil) onto a flat canvas panel just now! not bad. you just learning huh. acrylic medium? her eyes are a little off but other than that colors are nicely chosen, bold & blended well.

oils take patience for sure. you've done a great job. i used to do super huge figures in oil but i haven't painted in quite some time:(

ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I love the red-orange with the aqua. Sorry if I am way off on the colors. I know sometimes the true color doesn't really show up when it has two degrees of separation from reality. Whatever the colors, you are very talented! I am far from attempting to paint portraits. You rock!
