I'm still around....

Sorry I haven't been able to post today. I've been working on this painting (below) most of the day. What a process.....I started with the illustration over the weekend & finally finished painting it (oil) onto a flat canvas panel just now! I will be back with a post tonight or tomorrow afternoon .....DONT' forget the GIVEAWAY on May 13th to win Madebygirl surprise gift! To enter just follow my blog to your left.

  6. oils take patience for sure. you've done a great job. i used to do super huge figures in oil but i haven't painted in quite some time:(

  8. This looks great! I love the red-orange with the aqua. Sorry if I am way off on the colors. I know sometimes the true color doesn't really show up when it has two degrees of separation from reality. Whatever the colors, you are very talented! I am far from attempting to paint portraits. You rock!

    Will I be selling any? I dont know....If I did it would have to be a repro...because too much time to do an original. : )))
