This is the laptop area of my desk and where I've placed my inspiration board. The other side of the office/studio (not pictured here) isn't quite finished, so I don't have pics of it yet. The thing is, I need to add more shelving and I'm in a desperate search for that as we speak. The GOAL is to make everything look as neat as possible on the other side of my work area. So...this is all I'm showing for now until its finished. Like in this post, I'm looking for similar storage shelving... anything cute for storing files etc. Any suggestions on what stores to go to?? Thanks!
Jen, I know this is an obvious choice but Ikea never fails! We are in the midst of looking at storage options too and recently saw that the Billy shelving systems now offers a little wall until that is very convenient! HOWEVER, they don't have an IKEA here in Vegas....and not sure if i want to drive to California just to buy these shelves. Hmmmm If i dont find anything locally I may have to make that trip. An 8 hour total drive back and forth!!

yup i agree... i'm all about ikea for storage/shelving! maybe you could find ikea stuff on craigslist? i know on the weekends i see tons of listing for ikea stuff (at least in the chicagoland area)... or do you have the container store?

ReplyDeleteI wish I could look on Craigslist and find cool stuff here in Vegas. But i swear if you've ever looked at items on CL for Vegas...its like being brought back to the 80's haha its unreal! However since we don't have an IKEA here, not alot of IKEA stuff floating around on there.
I am not sure about the container store. I will definitely look into that. Thank you!
P.S. The color on the wall is "Mercer" by RALPH LAUREN. But it never photographs the same. In person it has a slight green tone to it...in these pics it looks more brown, weird....

I don't have a store suggestion, but I think some floating shelves in the same color as your wall would be nice. They'd let everything else shine and not be a distraction.

All in all...whatever i end up getting i will photograph and let you all know where i bought everything incase you may want something like it... etc.
