Here is a painting I made for a large wall in my home, this is by far my favorite of all the art I have. I hand-painted my favorite section of the infamous 'Romeo and Juliet' play from Shakespeare onto this large CANVAS. Every time I have guests over they stop and read the entire thing. They love it! My friends keep telling me to sell these on my MadeBygirl site. Not sure yet though.....we'll see if i have time. Have a great MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!!

    i think inspirational pieces like that which is personal to you, the owner of the house, is the perfect wall decor! it adds drama, personality, and a sense of belonging to a space. i also love that you did it in bright red on a white wall. talk about focal point.

    i would stop and read as well :)

    Thanks for the compliement, I figured RED would be the best color to draw attention to this large wall and it definately does. Its in a passageway area of my home, so I pass it everyday.

    Very cool! RED is my favorite color right now. I think its great to make your own personal art. Great idea. I plan on painting murals on my walls. Thanks for the comment on my page. I hope to post pictures weekly of everything we do at the house every weekend! We are loving every minute of it so far. There was about 7 trips to Lowes and Home Depot today alone! lol :)
