Hello Made by Girl readers, it's Stasia from Primp & Prime. Who's obsessing over Pantone's Spring 2014 color - placid blue? My fellow MBG contributor Sandra, recently did an amazing fashion post on this season's must have color. Not only are we seeing this color on the runway, we are seeing it in decorative details and architectural accents. I'm lusting over this soothing icy blue color...

Light, cool blue is one of my favourite colours. I love everything in this post! I'm especially lusting after the lamp and lounger. So beautiful! I had a living room painted this hue, when I lived near a lake.

It is a great color, but you are mistaken. Placid Blue is not color of the year. That would be Radiant Orchid. This one is color of Spring 2014.
