I have to admit, I only own nail polish. I've never made the jump to buy a Chanel handbag - yet. This is such a popular brand, with Coco herself creating the iconic tweed jacket back in the day - 1950s. But, don't be fooled by the old date, this jacket is a closet staple - and whether it's a true vintage tweed you own or a newer 'inspired version' (non-chanel) it's a must-have this Fall. The texture alone is what attracts me & I LOVE the mix of colors on the modern versions like the MSGM. So chic, yet still classy!
What would I pair these jackets with?? I would add a tight leather skirt (super trendy right now) or a pair of jeans for a more casual look.

ReplyDeletemy only chanel item is a black quilted patent handbag. I purchased it about 9 years ago from the chanel boutique at the Bellagio. Believe it or not I think it has INCREASED in value. Nowadays a similar style goes for about $1000 more than what I paid. (if you buy chanel keep your receipt/box/tags/etc...) & keep it in as MINT of condition as possible.

#1 and #3 seem to be my magic #'s this week...I am loving those two jackets! And what a great idea to add a Chanel broach. I love a nice tweed jacket and I agree, leather (skirt or pants) are the item to pair with it these days.

That jacket is gorge! I don't own any pieces but I do have the identical vintage sheaf of wheat coffee table she adored in her Rue Cambon Apt.
