I got these cool photos from a reader named Sommer. She was so inspired by the IKEA closet system I have in my bedroom - she decided to put one together for her home office. I absolutely love my closet, it comes in handy living in NYC! What do you think of hers??
Nice right?
Above is the closet in my room & below is Sommer's IKEA closet system.
Love the marbled paper she used. You can find them via paper mojo.
If I ever decide to change the animal print paper in my drawers - I'd choose something like this. The gold hardware we both used can be purchased at My Knobs.

WOW, the magic of IKEA!!!;) I loveeeeeeeeee the way you decorated your closet and those drawers!!! I like both the animal and marble paper print:) And i like how the close is so functional where you can you got a compartment for your clutches, clothes, and jewelry!!! Genius!:D
I am finally back from my Europe trip (well been back 3 weeks ago, lol) and i'll be posting photos soon so please stay tuned!!!:)
I love Ikea closets and both yours and your reader are lovely. I am currently planning mine from Ikea and then I am moving onto my study! http://lifelovesand.blogspot.ie/
You closet is put together so well, I would love to create a closet like it. So I can see how others would be inspired by it too! She did an amazing job with it!
That's a really chic closet. I will have to take a trip to Ikea in Sweden. Just what I'm missing in the guest bedroom there. And I LOVE seeing part of the bedding, it looks so perfect in your bedroom!
She did a great job! I've been tearing up your blog looking for info on that wall mirror! Is is paper, fabric, real snake skin?!?! did you do it, buy it?! :)
She did a great job of replicating the look of your closet. I wanna copy it too, it's so chic! I know that closet space is limited in Toronto where I plan to buy a house one day, so I'm def saving you closet in my inspiration file Jen!
HI SUGARPLUM: i made the python looking mirror. it was a regular mirror from IKEA that i glued python paper to. The surface of the mirror has to be flat in order for the paper to fit properly and not look bulky. I got the python paper from papermojo.com
They look so awesome. I'm dying to put something similar in my entryway. We live in a small row house and have such little storage and zero coat storage. So, my question, can this be a freestanding unit or does it have to be mounted to a wall? Should I be asking ikea and not bothering you? ha! Anyway, I love the look!
LOVE this closet, I have been looking at the IKEA website so I can purchase this! Is there anyway you could let us know the specifics....are the cabinets PAX with white Bergsbo doors? What about the inside piece with the drawers? I was having trouble figuring out which item that was.....any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
I love how so much can be organized in this closet. The paper she chose was beautiful. It's so nice that you have this platform to inspire others. Thanks for sharing!
