A little Tuesday inspiration....I found this home on bolaget & am now daydreaming of taking a trip abroad. Anyone else feel the same after looking at gorgeous European homes???
This one in particular was so amazing...from all the details on the ceilings, the super tall thin doors & the black & white checkered floors.
So many of us will probably NEVER walk into a home like this in our lifetime - perhaps that's why we're so drawn to them right??
Daydreaming...
beautiful!

I don't think this space could get much more charming. That molding on the ceiling is divine. Yes. I am ready to move! xoxo

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of inspiration--a swiss design company has used my brother/sis-in-law's appt in Lausanne on their website. And one of your prints is showcased! Go to http://www.myotaku.ch/sf/index.html

ENJOY!
Love it! Those bookshelves are divine.
ReplyDeleteThe apartment looks beautiful and it looks quite big. Love the molding. There are some websites, where you could do a house swap. That might be neat.
ReplyDeleteThat ceiling is Beautiful. I adore that kitchen and that bathroom is so fresh and clean feeling.
ReplyDeleteThe floors and ceilings are just gorgeous! It's a shame homes aren't built in the same way any more.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I'm itching for a little European vacay too.
That detail on the ceiling is amazing. Yes, ready for a trip now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!

Fabulous place - perfect mix of colour and white- totally dreaming of a european holiday... x
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous home! AH-mazing ceiling moldings and love the checkerboard painted wood floors! I think we get so used to the blank, builder box homes most of the US lives in that we are drawn to homes with the great architecture and character that so many European homes possess. Anytime I see a great apartment, or even just a beautiful cityscape (like the view from their little balcony) it makes me want to hop a flight! As always, Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics!

I really love this! - The checkered floor, the settee, the touch of pink and the books. Plus the lighting. It has an approachable feel yet is thoroughly screaming class. Now that's a home!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful space! Love how bright it is and the pops of color.

ReplyDeleteAnd a home so well done is hard to find too.

WOW, I thought it looked familiar.. a very swedish style.. and then I saw the street picture from the balcony! It's Malmö, where I live :) They have great pizzas on the restaurant that you see in the picture :)
ReplyDeleteThis apartment actually belongs to singer Nina Persson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nina_Persson).
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks great. I'm dreaming of stucco ceilings ever since and now I'm about to get my own. Just that they are not as stunning as these here, as mine are from DIY superstore :)
