  1. There are SO many stencils that it's really hard to choose, but I like the Little Lark and Indigo Bunting stencils ... Our first baby is due in June -- a girl -- and I can definitely see myself using these stencils as a part of the woodland motif Mr. M and I are going for in her nursery!

  11. i really really love this one : http://www.royaldesignstudio.com/shop_stencils_detail.php?id=80
    the moorish trellis pattern.

i'd use it in my music room, which i've been thinking of re-doing.
i'd probably do it in a light(ish) green over a darker shade, to get a lovely monochromatic pattern.
it'd look fantastic on my walls, since they're kind of rough plaster. ^.^

  12. I just love them all, But the one I would choose would be Donatella Damask on a Pale Pink with silver stelcils for my Nieces Baby Nursery!

  19. These are beautiful! I love the simple design of the Large Marrakesh Allover Trellis in the 2nd photo.

I would use a medium to dark gray with the trellis a stark white for contrast. I think it'd look beautiful with white furniture and pops of pink...perhaps from peonies or carnations...and glossy black details in the form of a Rococo mirror or frames

    or

  135. Just "leaked" to Melanie that I have been invited by a large, high-end Italian furniture importer to provide my new glass art for their showroom at the upcoming High Point Furniture Market. I would love to include the Large Corsini Damask in the line. Because I love it and because I got inspired by Melanie's design in Umbria and her glass and mirror art online class!

  143. I live in a small apart with three of my sorority sisters. We have this one wall in our super small living room that is painted teal but we have been looking for something to make it more interesting. Unfortunately when we hang pictures they always get knocked off when we have people over.
this stencil pattern we be perfect in a straght line about a quarter of the way up from the floor. Decorating in college is hard!

  146. I would choose the Endless Circle Lattice for an accent wall in my little girls room. They have a bright orange wall behind their beds and I think it would look great on it.

  147. It is a challenge to narrow it down - but the Eastern Influences Paisleys would look stunning on a little bench I salvaged that is patiently awaiting a makeover.

  148. I love the endless circle stencil but actually prefer the thinner lines of the 4th picture in this post. I looked all over their website for that stencil and couldn't find it. Either would be perfect for a project I'm doing with some shelving.

  182. So excited!! This is a GREAT giveaway...

I'm in the works of gathering ideas and items to re-do my little girls bed room for her 12th bday. She's transitioning from princess décor (princess belle yellow/ princess aurora pink) to teen rocker chic (black trim w/ white walls, layered with antique silver metallics and red accents). I would love to use the SMALL CORSINI DAMASK #3074S ($29.00) on the accent wall. I’ll be using red as the base wall color, layering the black and metallic in stencil form. I always try to give my little girl big surprises for her bday. Sending her on a weekend trip and returning to a “New bedroom” she’ll be able to grow with will definitely be a GREAT one!!

  185. Wow. Easy answer. The Large Ikat Zig Zag stencil is my DREAM pattern. I work from home and the alcove wall behind my desk spends all day tempting me to disobey my landlord and wallpaper it. The stencil would allow me to get that effect without bad behavior! LOVE.

  186. Stencil design heaven! I have been wanting to jazz up all the pocket doors in my house! I have four solid hardwood doors (old house) that primarily stay tucked in since they are an ugly beige and I just can't stand looking at them, yet can't hang anything on them or I cannot slide-to-hide:). How exciting and unexpected would it be to shut the pocket doors and see these patterns. So many to lust after, but if forced to pick one - it would be the Moroccan Stencils: Chez Ali Small.
Thanks for a great blog and I love following!!
