More of my home update.....

There used to be nothing in this area of my kitchen, now it's a pretty & stylish breakfast nook for two. The scoop-back chairs are from West Elm (originally yellow) & I painted them in 'La Fonda Mirage' by Valspar. Chevron (zig zag) rug by West Elm (on sale in store) & the Finley Pendant Lamp by Crate & Barrel. Oh, and I got the table on sale via West Elm as well! The flowers may be a tad bit too large, I may bunch them up & place them into a smaller vase. What do you think so far?

  2. Very pretty! I like how clean and pretty the glossy table looks. I agree that a big flower bunch in a lower vase would be great. Good job!

    Looks gorgeous.
How did you paint the chairs? Using spray paint or with a paintbrush? How many coats did you make? And how did you remove the original colour?
    Thanks for your advise.
I am going to post you my recent new home remodeling I am proud of it.
How can I post them to you? Could it be fine with a flickr link?
BTW I am waiting to receive your ABC love poster soon!!

  35. KATIA:
I used an outdoor paint from Lowes and painted the chairs using a PAINTBRUSH. I did about 3 coats, not overly heavy though...I didn't remove the original color (yellow) i just painted over it. Just email your photos to me at : jen@madebygirl.com
Id love to see your home! : )
    Enjoy your 4th.
